We will be at the S/D or AKL.
DH votes S/D.
DS & DD vote AKL.

We plan on staying 14 days on our next magical vacation.

Does mousekeeping change the bed sheets every week -
ore just continually just make the beds each day till another
family uses the room ?

Should we split our magical vacation between the 2 resorts -
AKL first (end of June) and then Dolphin (4th of July week) ?

I would like to stay in one room for the 14 days.
I still would vote AKL and visit the boardwalk after EPCOT or MGM.

But would AKL change the bedsheets after 7 days ?

Thanks !

They change them every three days.

If I were lucky enough to get to stay in Orlando for 14 days, I'd definitely look at 2 different resorts. Some of this is b/c I'm a travel agent and I like to do site inspections...secondly b/c I like a change of sceanery. However, if you decide to stay at the same place for 14 days, I'm sure you can request a change after 5 or 7 days. Our remote didn't work when we stayed at POR and we left a note. That night when we returned a new one was there!!
JUST LIKE MAGIC!! Have a wonderful time!

They do not change the sheets regularly every 3 days. They may at some resorts or occasionally do that- but they do NOT do that at every resort for every guest... atleast not at the All-stars! I have stayed at music and the sheets and pillowcases were not changed the entire 9 day trip. We stayed at sports our last trip which was 12 nights- at 9 nights I had to ask them to change the bedsheets. I'm quite sure they weren't planning on doing it until we checked out.

So apparently it's not a "set" thing- so you would probably need to request that they be changed.

I guess each resort has its own policy. GF and BWI change the sheets every three days, but will change them daily if you request it. At the BWI concierge, I swear they changed them every day without a request because I always go to sleep with lipstick on, invariably getting pink steaks on the pillowase, and the following evening, the pillowcase was always lipstick free.

hi disney2001!

Wow -- lucky you... two whole weeks at WDW! We have stayed at both AKL and the Swan. Both are beautiful, so whichever you choose you will be happy I'm sure. If it were me, I would simply request housekeeping to change the sheets every three days and not worry about it.

Happy planning! :sunny:

I would certainly hope that the sheets would get changed if you stay two weeks!

We have stayed at all of the All Star Resorts and some of the others and we had 1 clean sheet EVERY day!!! They usually put the top sheet on the bottom and used a fresh top sheet. I would expect no less from a hotel, after all, in theory the room could have new guests each day.
You only have to ask if it isn't done...and at any time of day.

at the AKL you can also request to have them changed every day if you like.....
otherwise it's every 3 days, i think...
