If we get snowed in for a day, can we add a day?

If we get snowed in for the day we arrive but it is not the day we start our free dining (made a seperate ressie because we do get snowed in), would they let us add a day to the end of our free dining package if we wanted to stay a day longer at WDW because of the day we missed at the start? Does this make any sense? Oh and we had them link our ressies.

If I understand correctly...You want to know if, on the day of your package arrival you want to extend the package by one day and still get the free dining? If that is correct then yes, you would be able to but it would be based on current availability. You can always change a package up to the day of arrival and if the package increases in cost there is no penalty. This is something that you would need to call the reservation center for though and not do at the Resort.

Hmm, you cannot book the free dining any more so I'm not sure. I've had different experiences w/ this. Last summer we extended our stay by one night at the Poly. We had a 40% off discount when we booked. We had added tickets and dining to the original room only discount. A day or 2 before we were to check out I asked if I could add just a night on and they did w/ the discount and we didn't have to change rooms. The summer before we had a room only discount, added dining and tickets, stayed @ CSR. The day before we were to leave we inquired about adding a night only. They sId they were completely book and to call in the morning. Still booked, had to change resorts, and used a different discount code that was out to the general public. So after all of that I would call and ask, but if you don't do it then youn may have verying success. Just know that going in.

We had booked a 14 nite Free Dining trip this December and when the bad weather hit we were able to add two more days but there was no Free Dining on those days. We used our leftover credits the first day added (was also our original check out day) and bought some items with our leftover snack credits for the second day and even had things to take for our trip home.

I had to try several times to finally get the two extra nights and had to pay rack rates.
