If we eat late lunches, will we be rushed?

I'm planning on making late lunch or early dinner reservations at a few places for our main meals. Most cases, lunch is cheaper. But I worried we'd be rushed out as they want to prepare for dinner guests.

Like the Biergarten, lunch goes until 3:10 and dinner starts at 4. If we have a lunch ressie for 3:00, will they rush us to be out before 4?

Same situation at San Angel Inn (lunch until 4, dinner starts at 4:30).

And Hollywood and Vine Character lunch until 2:20... if we had lunch at 2, will the characters all leave at 2:20?

Thank you! I've been to WDW many times as a kid, but this is my first time taking my kids!

I iwould say not. I haven't been to those particular ones during lunch/dinner change over but I have been at 'Ohana for breakfast with an ADR of 11 (last seating time) and they have not rushed us out. And this is a location that doesn't even do lunch.

At any character meal you will see each character at least once. If you don't, make sure to tell one of the staff or handlers.

At Biergarten if your ADR is 3:10 (lunch price) and dinner starts a 4 you are obviously not going to be done eating lunch by 4-they won't be closing down-just changing the pricing and maybe adding a few more dinner items.

We have also had the latest time you could get at Tusker House in AK (just before AK closed) and we never felt rushed. In fact it was really cool as when we left the park it had been closed for almost an hour and we took our time walking out of the almost deserted park. :goodvibes No one said anything to us as we took our time leaving, taking photos along the way.

You should be fine with your meal times.

You won't have any problems at all.

"Like the Biergarten, lunch goes until 3:10 and dinner starts at 4. If we have a lunch ressie for 3:00, will they rush us to be out before 4? " We've done this very thing and the only difference you will notice is a few dinner only items will replace a few of the lunch items. That will be all that is noticeable.

"Same situation at San Angel Inn (lunch until 4, dinner starts at 4:30)" - make sure you are given the lunch menu and you will be fine.

"And Hollywood and Vine Character lunch until 2:20... if we had lunch at 2, will the characters all leave at 2:20?" No.

Relax and have a good time.
