and you were his tour guide for the day, what would be the first thing you'd take him to see in his "empire"? What doyou think he'd be proudest of/most impressed by? What would you try to hide from him (or what do you think he would be most upset/annoyed about)?

I think I'd try to steer clear of Ariel and any references of her. I heard he thought red-heads were..ahem..."loose".

I'd probably take him to Main Street in MK, right outside the railroad tunnel and let him watch the faces of people as they walk out from under it and see the castle for the first time.

I woudl bring him to Mickey's Phillarmagic. I think he would love it. I 'd bring him to DL to ride the Lilly Belle and his presidential car.

I would hide the chipped paint and run down looking fountains. When Eisner was at the helm, things weren't fresh and crisp as they were pre-Eisner. Now they are better, but not like they used to be.

I think Walt would be v. thrilled w/and proud of Mickey's Philharmagic and Soarin'.

I think he'd be less than pleased w/the whole Hester and Jester or whatever that terrible carnival atmosphere area in AK is called. I think that's so anti-Walt and I'd bet money he'd hate it.

If I were Walt, I'd be proud of WL and AKL, the Animal Kingdom and a bunch of other stuff.

But then I'd be annoyed by the AK cashiers hitting everyone up for money, the picture-hawkers and the sad state of affairs the Ladies' restrooms were in and that would kill me all over again.

:)

If Walt were alive and I was touring him .. I would show him an overall scope of how big Disney really is ...

But, then, I would definitely hide the McDonalds Fry Carts!

I would take him on Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. I think he'd be most proud/impressed by how big his dream became. I would avoid taking him to CA Adventure. I don't think he would of been too excited about that. He always said there will never be an end to Disneyland. He would of wanted that land to be added to Disneyland. :)

If you were Walt, what would you be doing in the Ladies' restrooms??? :confused3

:rotfl:

Take him to Toon Town, to watch the joy on all the childrens places as they meet Mickey Mouse ::yes:: :sad1:

I would definately hide the companion restrooms, everyone i had been in was smelly and awful and scary! :scared1: :scared:

I would take him to the MK and put him right on the Steam Trains and ride them all around the MK.

Walt LOVES  trains and I know he would be thrilled riding/seeing the trains.

Then I would march him down Main Street and show him the most FABULOUS statue of all...WALT AND MICKEY...with the back :thumbsup2 drop of the CASTLE!!!

:lmao: oops.

I guess I'm a confused Walt. The whole dying and coming back thing left with a gender identity issue. :teeth:

I'd take him to the animation studios and show him some computer animation. I bet he'd be exited to see what the new technology could do for animation! :goodvibes

I would take him to Epcot. He had some real big dreams for it and he never got to see it. I think he would love it. I would avoid Disney Studios like the plague. I don't think Walt would be too impressed with the place.

I don't know...hasn't EPCOT deviated quite a bit from Walt's original idea for it as an actual living community? And he would probably hate the big glittery EPCOT sign on the geodesic dome (I know I do)

Mickey's Philharmagic is what first came to mind for me - it all began with a mouse :)
