Gosh so sorry for your little girl. Sad to say I see a lot of that "gray" thing especially on Main Street. I was on Frontierland Dock all night last evening with a great group of people. Amazingly they put up with my silly fishing and singing "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" all night! It could be worse though, I was recently approached by a player who says "you are ugly!" I said " that is not nice to say" he says " I want free rare" I say " right you be mean to me and I should gift you free?" he says "go to he.all!" I swear I almost fell out of my chair! In fact I was so shocked I was slow to hit the report button and he was gone!! Good to see you stay close by your daughter on VMK, sadly it is not always a safe environment for childen.

I've had people call me I'm ugly before...mainly guests, I'm saying welcome to VMK to them and they tell me I'm ugly? Yeah it isn't nice.
Yesterday in pirates I played against this girl and I shot her down and stuff and she's like. "You stink!." then she said "I hat soaring_music!" then in the lobby she comes up to me and says "You're dead music." so I reported her. And apparently she reported me long ago too is what she said when I never did anything...

But if I see something happening I either write the name down super fast or just when they leave scroll up and look at their chat and get the name..

As terrible as this is, I see that your daughter must be a very mature 9 for her to respect VMK values like that as she was cautious and didn't automatically try to say, "But she's my mummy!" In the heat of the moment, it's quite easy to reveal personal information as a defense. Regardless of whether or not it is a "bannable" issue (I don't know whether it is or isn't), I think it's great that she was able to handle herself.

It's terrible how some people are on VMK. I once had two people (supposedly a brother and a sister) harrassing my friend and me in New Orleans Square. They started virtually "mugging" us and then they were "pulling down our pants" and "going to the bathroom" on us and we were able to ignore them. We didn't actually click "Ignore" but we were playing along like we had and actually said something like, "I wonder why she keeps coming up to me because I can't see what she's saying because I clicked ignore." Then she started going on and on about she was going to report us and that she did and (she must not have been very smart since if we were ignoring her, we wouldn't have been able to read it) so I said to my friend, "You know what's funny? It's again VMK values to report someone for no reason and usually that person gets in trouble instead" and just like that, she quickly left the room.

In VMK, we were able to remain calm but in real life (we were chatting outside VMK as well), we were both pretty heated. It's disturbing and it bothers me so much that these people will attack anyone, not knowing whether or not younger kids are behind those avatars.

Anyway in short, I'm so sorry that this happened to your daughter
