I post in threads that interest me and skip the ones that don't. I don't feel that I intentionally try to boost my # of posts because it doesn't really matter to me. I just like having a place to come to yak about Disney stuff when everyone in my family is tired of hearing it (which is daily!!)

I have been around a long time and have a not too high post count. I don't really get into the games, exchange, pad your post threads. Maybe I should??

I do participate in some of the game threads -mostly out of boredom if I don't see anything catchy on the first page. I don't really distinguish them from most other CB threads. I mean, who's to say game threads have less intrinsic value than never-ending political debates or in-depth discussions of someone's bunions or puppies? (Note: I am subject to join in on any of the above)

Know what's crazy? I never even thought that some folks might be padding post counts by participating in such threads!!! It just never dawned on me that it would be a goal for anyone.

How come the exchange threads were mentioned? I don't see those as post-count boosting threads at all. there is actually something productive going on there.

My count was pretty low for awhile. I usually don't participate in games, sometimes I'll wish people a Happy Birthday. I was made a "moderator" for the Trip Reports Board, so now I just can't read them and move on, but I love my new job and I don't mind thanking people for doing a Trip Report.
Did you ever ask people about their vacation-it is usually a "huh", ya, warm weather. So I don't mind my new job.

Ya know, I do play a lot of games, but not for the post count, I just think they are fun. Would my total suffer, yes, but not to much. I tend to be a pretty chatty person, and I'm all over the place!!!!!!!
