Ironically, I couldn't open this thread on the first attempt because..... the server was too busy. What's it busy doing, anyway?

What really gets me is when I type out a well thought out response abd click "submit post" only to loss everything because the server is too busy. Happened to me last week. I posted asking for opinions on a school issue - losts of responses & questions by posters. I spent 20 minutes constructing a reply only to have it lost in cyberspace due to a busy server.

This happens to me also, hit the refresh button and then okay and it will eventually go through.

We are working on a plan now to greatly increase our server base. The problem is that everytime we up the server power we get busier! Not a bad problem to have

The new plan we are working on will expand our server power by 300 percent at least

I have learned over time that when I do that I always copy the reply before I hit submit. That way if something happens all I need to do is just go back in and paste. I do this pretty much all the time now....

This is exactly what I do now. Because too many times I have been a victim of spending a great deal of time constructing a post or reply like mom2boys
