Jorge finally got my pictures done so I can start my Yellowstone trip report!!!![]()
Though he still hasn't done my Disney pics from June! Where are his priorities?!?

So here goes:
Tuesday August 12:
We were scheduled to leave about 3pm after Nate worked an abbreviated work day. Well, we all know how this story goes! Nate called about 5 on his way home from a meeting with a client. I had the car packed with our luggage and the camping gear that Nate had ready from the weekend before. But, he still needed to get his fishing gear and a few other odds & ends packed. So we discussed whether or not to leave much later than we had planned or just get up early the next day and drive straight thru. We decided to stick with the original plan and head to his parents to stay the night. I think it was around 8 by the time we pulled out of the driveway. With a 5 hr. drive, we got to his parents in Western PA after 1 am.The plan was to leave at 8am the next morning from their house. Ha!
I still think only leaving a few hours late is pretty good for you guys.

Wednesday August 13:
I was pretty excited so I did manage to wake up around 7. I think it was after 2 that we got to bed the night before. I had packed a small bag with the things we needed to stay overnight at the in-laws so no need to unpack the whole car!Of course, Nate was convinced he could've packed the car better if he had done the packing. So what did he do? Yep, re-packed the car.
Finally, we pulled out about 10:30. Only 2 1/2 hrs. behind!

Only 2 hours!

I miss you guys!!!!!

Nate wasn't amused when I suggested that since we were there we should stop at the DVC Doorway to Dreams. It's at one of the malls.
So we drove. And drove. And drove. Not much to report on this day. Just miles of corn fields. There were storms at night with some really cool lightning strikes. It was beautiful to watch from a distance. We got to Omaha about 1:30 am. Ugh. We needed to be on the road at 8. Double ugh.
When you called and said you were in Chicago I almost
