If staying at Premium WDW hotel - FastPass+ More Advantages?

Are there any advantages to staying at a premium resort (i.e. Boardwalk) and being able to reserve more than 3 FastPass+ reservations? I thought when the program was launched there were going to be layered advantages for WDW hotel guests too? Thanks
