If for any reason Sarah becomes POTUS what is the worst that can happen? Some people feel she will be " Handled" but I think she is too strong for that.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact this can happen.

For me, the first thing that comes to mind would be that she would likely have the chance to nominate some pretty conservative judges to the Supreme Court. Roe V. Wade could be overturned pretty quickly.

She'd also have veto power over any bill that comes to her desk, which would give her a pretty strong influence on any legislation that comes to law (assuming the Congress didn't have enough votes to push it through regardless of veto).

The biggest thing would be that she'd be Commander and Chief, and dictate our foreign policy. I don't have confidence in her decisions in that regard.

Don't you think McCain will do the same thing with the Supreme Court?

I guess the foreign policy is what could be scary but I feel McCain is a warrior so he would be as likely if not more so to go to war.

I have similar concerns about McCain, although he's got better foreign policy credentials than Palin.

In any case, my vote's for the other guys, so I'm hoping it won't matter.
