For budgetary reasons, (what else is new?!? :confused3 ) we are limiting ourselves to 2 TS. We did Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey's last time, and would like to do something different. If you could only choose 2, (will be DH, DS 8, DS 2, and myself) which would they be?

Any input greatly appreciated! I am overwhelmed by all the choices! Took me 3 months to choose a resort!!!

We really liked 1900 Park Fare for the Mary Poppins and Friends breakfast. It was Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice and the Mad Hatter. The food was excellent and the character interaction was great! The Mad Hatter was lots of fun and played with our DS2- even fed him a few bites! There is rumor of a hero or Toy Story meal going to start soon at MGM. Check out that thread- it seems like it will be a lot of fun for little boys!

Liberty Tree Tavern (for dinner) and Sci-Fi (for lunch). Your ds will get a kick out of eating in the cars, and the menu there is pretty reasonable, for Disney.

I'd go with one character meal and one non-character meal.

Ohana Dinner
Cape May Breakfast

Thanks everyone. After seeing the thread on a potential Pixar character breakfast, I am hoping to include that as one of our ADR's. DS 8 would be soooo happy!

I think I would choose an Epcot restaurant and one other. A favorite of ours is Biergarten - our kids have always done very well there. For dinner (not sure about lunch) they have live music and the kids generally go down to the stage and dance. The inside of the hall is very pretty too - like you are sitting outside in the evening in a city in Germany (er...Disney-style you know!).

Crystal Palace is always one of my favs - I have to go there everytime too! Sci-fi diner is interesting but your younger one may not like the darkness. It is possible that some kids wouldn't like the movie trailers they show (B-movies) that have some monsters in them. LTT is a favorite of most people if you need some place to go and want a character meal. The food was so-so I thought. Boma is great - especially for adults - I think your kids would enjoy seeing the animals in the viewing areas at the AKL too.

Good luck with your choices!

My vote goes for:

Liberty Tree Tavern (great Character interaction) and really good food! :thumbsup2

and

Boma (Buffet - wonderful food ) :woohoo:
