If on a waitlist does MS cross check resorts....

if someone has a reservation already and wants the same room at a different resort? i.e. I have a ressie at OKW studio and I want the same days at BCV and someone has a ressie at BCV and wants them at OKW studio same days. Do they check and switch out these ressies? Just wondering.

No, they don't.

It sounds like a good idea, but the logistics of that would be a nightmare, IMHO.

For example, how would the waitlist fit into that process? What if the person who wanted BCV (and had OKW) wasn't the first on the waitlist for BCV?

This is a first time for a waitlist for us and I didn't know if this is something they looked at when checking for availablity. Made our ressies back in May for Dec and couldn't get all at BCV waiting to see if we will ever get our waitlist.
