If not Limo then what????

Based on the recommendations on this board I booked with limozip this week. There will be nine of us, the round trip price from John Wayne to DL is 168. I'm surprising the family, they think we are going on the dreaded SuperShuttle. Actually, the limo is cheaper. We are arriving May 19th and leaving May 22nd. I'm counting the days. We are celebrating "0" birthdays on this trip - 10, 30, 50 & 60. 5 of us did the Fantasmic buffet 3 years ago for my birthday. I hope I can get reservations for it this year. I plan to be on the phone at 8am on the 20th. If I can't get that I think I'll try for a birthday party at the Plaza Pavillion. Has anyone done that? I'll post back after our trip and give a limo review.

We are thinking about flying into LAX instead of John Wayne. I can't believe that the price of the flight is almost half. We are arriving on a Sunday morning in August. Does anyone have an idea about how long it takes Super Shuttle to get from LAX to the GC? I know that there could be other stops and such. But I was just trying to see how much longer it will take to come from LAX instead of John Wayne. Also, we are flying back out the following Sunday early afternoon. How far in advance do they need to pick us up to ensure we get to the airport 2 hours early?

The travel time to DL from Lax is usually about 45 mins. For our return trip, we had the driver pick us up three hours before our flight. By the time we made it to the airport and went through airport security, we had about 1-1/2 hours before our flight left. Of course, these times could vary greatly depending on what days/times you are traveling. Just ask the transportation service you are using -- they are the experts!
