And IF we haven't signed the papers yet, do you think Disney will let us switch incentives?
My guide might shoot me but if it's a lot better I'd chance it...
Sure they will - in fact I'd suggest making that a condition before you'll sign and send in your paperwork and if you have already signed and are within the rescision period, I'd contact your guide to cancel unless the better incentive is passed along.
Be sure to review what you already have and what any new incentive might be to make sure it really is better. There may be little or no difference - and it might not even be as good as what you already have since some incentives reduce the total amount owed and others may just be for options that won't reduce your actual costs - but are still enticing.
Agree with Doc. When we bought our recent points we asked if we could hold for sometime to ensure we had the best deals before the new incentives came out. We held the paperwork about 8 days.
I switched after attending the VGC on Friday. The guide at the event did a rewrite of our original contract (hadn't received the first set of documents yet, so the guide cancelled those and then resubmitted the new paperwork)...

I have my papers in hand, I just recieved them on Thursday. My guide suggested I hold on to them to check out the new incentives and he said it would be no problem if I chose to switch!
It is hard to wait, bur I am going to hold off signing and returning them just to see!

Absolutely it is okay. We actually signed our papers on March 9th when we toured at SSR and my guide told me that we can change incentive programs until the date our deed is recorded (mid-April for us). I actually joked with him and said, well, what if better incentives come out the day after our deed is recorded, and he said that he would even do it for us then.
