If money weren't a problem, what resorts would you stay at and why?

the BLT gend vila with MK viwe If mony was not an issue so I can bring my hole family

For my choice, i rather stay at the contemporary which is why we own at BLT. So in effect we did go with the "money is no problem" option. :confused3 I find the building to be very comfortable. We leave the glass door cracked open and in the morning you wake up to the sounds of the boat horns, the monorail (some times) and the train from the magic kingdom chugging along. All sounds that are directly associated with Walt Disney World. It is nice to get up about 5am and just sit on the Contemporary dock and watch the fog burn off Bay Lake... We at DVC say, "stay where you love to stay" (actually it is "own where you love to stay" but that did not work in this case) it really does make a difference to the whole experience. If you are not in love with your hotel it does cloud the whole way you feel when you are there... I think this is one reason some people look at WDW as just a group of parks...when the parks are actually a very small part of the whole place. You could easily burn off two-weeks and not even go into a park.

Wilderness Lodge - We love the atmosphere
Polynesian - Great location and our favorite of the monorail resorts
Yact & Beach Club - Great location and pool.

Is the Cinderella Suite an option?

In a sense, for us it's not just money (which is not to say money's not a factor...) but time--I would love to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Wilderness Lodge at some point, but it's hard to give up the proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios at the Boardwalk Inn. I'd also like to do club level at the Grand Floridian someday. I'd also go back to the Polynesian.

If money weren't an option, I'd do a split stay, first a MK view presidential suite at the Contemporary, then the Yellowstone suite at the Wilderness Lodge. Although there's always the Grand Suite at the Grand Floridian... :scratchin

Since money is immaterial, I'd also buy out half the rooms so there'd be fewer people at the pools. :rotfl: I love the MK resorts, but seems like the pools are always mobbed when we're there. Except the Grand Floridian's, but we've only been there once and it was raining. :p

As DVC members, we love the BLT! If money was not an issue then I would love to stay at the Treehouse Villas with a 2 bedroom (with the kids) or the Grand Floridian in a suite (without the kids). We love the location of the BLT since the Magic Kingdom is our favorite. I also would love to stay in Cinderella's Castle if that is an option!

If money were no object, I would take my children and all their grandparents to Disney for Christmas. We would book multiple Royal Palm Court rooms at the GF and enjoy the decorations for several days. Then we would split into two groups. The grandparents and our children would head over to the WL in some room combination that included bunk beds for our girls. DH and I would disappear off to a deluxe club room at the BWI for 2-3 days, seeing our girls only in the parks and maybe (maybe) for dinner. Then we would all reunite and board a disney cruise ship in the Walt or Roy Disney suite, plus however many additional concierge cabins were needed, and sail off for some sun and swimming. Oh, and let's invite my brother and his family along for the cruise.

Now I'm going to input all of that into the ultimate iPad planning sheets that I acquired from Mike over on the Theme Park board and wait for his handy spreadsheet to tell me how long/how many pay cheques until I can afford the trip :rotfl:

LOVE this above plan!!!! Good job!!!

If I had my dream it would definitely include a WDW and DCL cruise put together as well.

The hotel portion would have to include some combination of Beach Club/ Boardwalk/ Poly.

Beach Club cuz my kids love that pool!

Boardwalk cuz we have never stayed there and I have always just wanted to figure out what the biggest and best balcony is at the BW and just live on it. I think it is so pretty over there.

And Poly again because it was one of my favs and just has sentimental value to me.

Grand Floridian because I think my mom would love it.

Contemporary because I have always wanted to stay there, even when I was a kid.
