Has anyone designed labels similiar to the Hi My Name Is tags you wear at conferences. I was looking for something with Lightening McQueen, Buzz Light Year and Mickey (each charachter their own tag) that says

If Lost Please Call My Mom at
blank space for my phone number

This way if my son gets lost a CM can easily call me and I don't have to worry that my son will remember my number.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You might want to consider having a dogtag made for him once you get to the parks. There are machines all over the Parks (usually tucked away in the souvenir shops), and each contains tags that are themed to the park area you are in. We got ours in Tatooine Traders becasue my oldest wanted a Jedi Academy theme. I had these made for both my boys (3 and 6) with my name and cell # on them and they wore them around their necks the whole time we were in the parks. They both understood that they were only supposed to show them to Cast Members if they got separated from us. They were $10 with the chain, and worth every penny for my peace of mind. They also made great souvenirs for the boys! :goodvibes

Hmmm. Guess I could've waited then....I had tags made at PetSmart. :confused3 My 4yo DD is thrilled with hers (pink heart). My 11yo DS wanted a blue one to go with his sneakers (I'm threading them onto the first pass of the lace since I don't trust either of them not to lose them otherwise) but all they had in blue was a dog bone! Oh well. Guess we can always get them a fun one while we're there too!

On a side note, I made ID cards for them with just their first names, "If I'm lost please call... (our cell phone numbers)", and "We're staying at The Polyenesian Resort" on one side and their favorite character on the other side. They're going to wear them on their lanyards in the press pass holders I got - character side out. So they'll have picture IDs on them and with the contact info for my husband & I but it won't be announcing their names to the world either. My husband & I are going to carry copies of each of their IDs too so we'll have pictures on hand in case they get lost.

And yes, I confess, I ordered those safety tattoos too. Yes, I'm a little over protective...but I've worked for the Dept of Correction for over 20 years and have dealt with some pretty scary people! I'd rather my kids have 3 different ICE contact methods on them than have them disappear and not be able to reach me. So, 1) ID card...if they lose that; 2) dog tag...if they lose their shoe (?) or we're at Blizzard Beach; 3) oh yeah! my tattoo! :cool2:

And yes, I confess, my husband thinks I'm nuts. ;)

Does anyone know if they have those dogtag making places at Disneyland? I have been thinking about making something for my kids too, but that sounds really cute. If they have them there, I might just wait!

Well, what I ended up doing was using tag designs and adding the info I need and printing them out on name badge labels. They look great and so easy thanks to all the great advice on this site.
