I'm very confused and I'm getting mixed vibes on this answer.
It seems at the food courts since the drink fountains, etc. are after you pay no one feels wrong about getting another refill of their beverage whether you are on the plan or not. I'm not talking about the refillable mugs, either, here.
There are places like Sunshine Seasons where the beverage fountains are before you pay; so, I wouldn't think you could get a refill on the plan or not; yet, there are those who claim to do it.
Does anyone have the absolute policy on whether you are allowed refills on counter service meals with the DDP? Does it depend on the place? Does it depend on it being self-serve?
I've never been refused on a regular drink for a refill on table service. I'm just not getting it for the counter service. I've always thought no; so, I never tried to do it. Now, on a forth coming trip I would like to know if it's allowed. Do you have to show your receipt again if you do a refill at a place where the fountains are before you pay? How does it work to get another refill on DDP CS?
