what do I do?
I already have a Ding fare to Disney and back, but I've seen a cheaper Ding fare come up. I called Southwest to figure out how to do it. They said I had to do it online since it was a Ding, but they could cancel my original. They did and by the time I got back on the computer the Ding fare had expired. I had to call Southwest back and plead to have my previous Ding fare restored. They obliged. My trip is still 2 months away so it is likely that another, cheaper Ding will be available. Do I risk it again and if so, how exactly do I do it? The reservationist said to secure the new seats first, but I'm not sure how to do that since my funds won't be available until I cancel the old reservation, right? Do you think she means to use 2 different windows - taking the new reservation all the way up to the point of payment, then open up another window and cancel the old reservation? I was concerned and didn't do this initially because it says that when you cancel it could take some time for the funds to become available. And we all know that with Dings we have a very short time span.
Thanks for any help you can offer!!!
