They are everywhere. They are swarming outside our house, they are on my car, trash cans, etc.

My Mickey Mouse Halloween flag is covered in them.

I feel for you!! At WDW this last week, I am pretty sure the love bugs lost me all hope of convincing DH to ever move to FL. Icky.

the reason they are called love bugs is I would guess because they uh, hook up together and fly around two at a time.......

I went to Pensacola last week and the bugs were hitting the windshield like rain. Had to scrub them off the bumper when I got home, well DH did. We haven't had our corvette out in about a month because of the bugs.

It's funny, this area hardly gets any. My son is living up near Kissimmee and he says they're awful up there.

I lived in FL for 3 years & I'll take lovebugs over fire ants any day!

My luck, I'd be shooing love bugs away from me and step right in a fire ant pile, then fall down, get bitten by an armadillo and lay there until the buzzards eat me. Oh, the joys of living in Florida.

We have a lot of fire ant mounds in our yard right now. Dh put some stuff down the other day but I don't know how much good it did.
