After exploring the trail we went out to find a spot to watch the parade. Mam went off to find another bench in the shade and I sat out beside on the poles the ropes would be put on.
WARNING GRUMP!!!
I got a little annoyed at this parade as we had been in our spots maybe half an hour or so before the parade so we could get good video and pictures but then just as the parade started a very non friendly ignorant woman shoved her children in front of me (like the small boy was standing on my feet) and then she kept blocking my view of the parade hanging out over the rope to get her pics so alot of what I got turned out like this:

After the parade we decided to explore another part of the park we hadn't been to before so took the wildlie express train over to rafiki's planet watch.

We didn't see anything except plants on the train journey but when we got there we went to the conservation station where we were surprised to find Pocahontas, Jimini Cricket and Rafiki waiting to take pics So after more character pics we went to visit the animals in the affection section:

The two goats on the bridge started fighting after I took that pic seems both were determined to go their own way and neither wanted to get out of the way of the other so they stood bashing heads for a while.
Anyways we got the wildlife train back to africa and then had to leave as Animal Kingdom was closed for the evening.. We got back to Epcot bus park at about 6.45 so had just missed out hotel bus so what do we do.....

Yeah mam doesn't really get the whole talk about disney non stop and take pictures of every corner and food item lol but I think she was impressed with how much more I knew this time round!

It must of been pretty busy if the characters took you 2 hours!

Mickey and Minnie's lines were the longest.. Chipmunks and The Rabbits lines were really short. Meeko and Donald were the shortest. Don't think anyone realised where they were. Meeko was just as you were coming into Camp Minnie Mickey and Donald was hidden in a corner!

I know it was so good! Hadn't tried many of the disney treats before this trip as we always thought jes 3,85 or whatever and then how much tax didn't realise with the ice creams there was no more tax so happy out when we discovered this.

I guess we got lucky! There was quiet a few animals around and our driver kept stopping and waiting to see if they would come out where there was none about! I don't think I've ever seen the lion out on the safari before though.

Yeah that really annoyed me because it was baking hot and I'd sat out for half an hour to get good pics. I don't mind letting little ones in front of me if they're behind and can't see but she was just rude about it and just shoved in and dumped the kid on my feet before blocking my view that's what annoyed me most.

I can't wait to see what you do waiting for your bus back to the hotel....

So due to a long wait for a bus back to Epcot bus park outside of Animal Kingdom we missed out hotel bus by 15 minutes so now we were kinda stuck what do we do pay 35 for a taxi or find something to fill time while we wait for a later bus....
Mam decided it was dinner time and nearest park was Epcot obviously so we had park hopper option and nothing to do for three hours so off into Epcot we went:

First stop was Electric Umbrella for food. I had kids chicken wrap with an extra portion of chips. No food pics because was concentrating on keeping warm it was freezing in the restaurant with the air conditioning!
Before this trip mam and I had been having a debate about disney. She kept saying she didn't see the point in going to same place over and over... she's a disney fan but not a crazy run around in excited circles at the site of the castle disney fan like I would be! I kept telling her we needed to go because we've missed so much of the parks and I told her we'd never done Epcot properly so my first mission was to find Donalds boat ride and second to prove what I was saying about missing most of Epcot every time we go there!
So off we went outside to heat up and headed for Mexico. I went up the steps of the building in Mexico and mam was looking at me like I was crazy until we went around the doorway and she saw all the shops and restaurant and then she was like OMG you're right we have missed all this. We found the Donalds boat ride first since it was the main reason I went to "Mexico":

Afterwards I asked mam if she wanted to head out towards the bus park to wait for hotel bus and she was like no show me more of what I've been missing... I'm like YES!! Success! So we went to Norway to explore the shops there. We debated going on Maelstorm but I was to chicken lol! But we did get pics with this dude:

After that there was a show of Reflections of China about to start so of course we went to check that out and take pics in China:

When we came out of that Illuminations was starting so again I asked bus or stay for fireworks? Guess what.... we stayed

The evening was a little unplanned but worth it when I managed to convince Mam that we haven't seen the parks properly before plus next day was a "rest" day so didn't matter to much that we waited for late bus.

Also on a little side note I just spotted i have in the trip report diary that wait times that day were 20 minutes for rides but the moved quickly so it didn't seem like 20 minutes waiting.

So day 7 was our "rest" day we stayed in bed til 11 and then headed out to the Prime outlets. Was a funny morning, it took about 45 minutes to an hour for the iride that's meant to come every 20 minutes to arrive but while we were waiting we got talking to two girls who were also from Ireland and were staying in the same hotel as us... weirder still when mam asked where in Ireland they were from they only lived 15 minutes drive away from us! Kinda odd how that happens when you're so far away from home! When the iride eventually did arrive btw we asked the driver what the delay was as on their brochure and stops it says they arrive every 20 minutes he just shrugged and said everyone had gone for lunch!

Today was a good shopping day as well got lots of new clothes and most importantly figured out something slightly strange in sketchers which I still don't understand.. in adult sizes I'm size 7 and in kids sizes I'm size 5 but once I figured this out I finally managed to get a pair of twinkle toes that I wanted so so much

So happy with our shopping we headed back to hotel and the hotel pool was open until 11.30 every night so I decided to go for a swim before we headed out to CiCi's for dinner. Our hotel had given us some voucher for that restaurant which meant for dinner and drinks for it only cost 5.95 each! Food was nice as well all pizza and pasta and all you can eat type buffet. Only downer was when I went into the bathroom and it was just gross! We took a walk to Walgreens before heading back to hotel and I took some pics of international drive:

So another update... Day 8 THE MID WAY POINT

Today was Arthurs Day which from what I can tell is a new day that someone has decided people need to celebrate Arthur Guiness's birthday on and there seems to be random events arranged in the capital city over here for like concerts and such. I'm not sure anything happens around the world for it like St. Patricks Day but it pretty much just seems to be an excuse to promote the black stuff:

Which I think tastes like soap btw but there ya go that's just a little aside from the trip report...

This morning we got hotel bus to disney again and arrived at Epcot car park early... while we were waiting for the bus to arrive to take us where we actually wanted to go I snapped these pics:

every morning we were at Disney there was someone skywriting various messages to do with God like Hope in God etc... Was kinda funny listening to everyone at the bus stop trying to guess what the word was going to be as the sky writers started each day though.
Anyways soon enough we managed to get over to the park we wanted to go to for that day which was:

There was alot of people heading into the Studios that morning and it was a hot hot hot day! We love shopping so first stop was a walk through the shops up towards the hat where Marie from Aristocats jumped into my arms and came home with me Soon after we arrived a High School Musical show started in front of the hat so I went up to watch that and mam went off to find a bench under a tree to hide from the sun:

After the show when I went back to mam I found she'd made a friend:

When she sat down the duck wandered over to her and she decided to take out a biscuit she'd kept from the plane and give some to the duck. That was fine til she ran out of biscuit and the duck wanted more so the duck started pecking at her legs instead was so funny though.
Anyways after that I spotted Tigger and Eeyore so tried to go get pics but CM sent us away saying Tigger and Eeyore were about to go off for a break or some such thing so instead we went to:

There was a 20 minute wait for that but seemed alot longer for some reason.
After voyage of the little mermaid we tried to get pics with Tigger and Eeyore again who were back out but again were sent away by the CM who told us this time that they were only allowing families with young kids to meet Tigger and Eeyore so instead I decided to give up on trying to get my pic with Tigger and Eeyore for today and snapped this instead:

next up our first ever ADR!

Ok so after failing to get my pic with Tigger and Eeyore twice It was time to head over to our very first ADR experience... I was super excited about it and to make things even better on the way over we found Stitch all alone.. I'm not sure whether he was just coming out for pics or whether people couldn't see him he was over to the left of the hat near the toilets eitherways there was literally nobody there except the cast member so we stopped for a quick pic before heading to:

We checked in and just had time to pin trade with a CM before being called to our car! I loved the theming of this place!

I've no pics of the main food we got. I did have it written down I had chicken sandwich and my mum had the turkey sandwich. We don't normally do the sit down restaurants in disney we normally just do counter service and mam did say that she thought it was the best food we had all week but she thought what they showed on the screen was a load of rubbish! I thought it was kinda cute some of it esp this one:

We both shared a raspberry cheesecake thing for dessert (sorry can't remember the name exactly) and mam had started to tuck in when I decided I wanted a pic sorry:

I claimed the white chocolate coin off it

I loved this place only negative I would say is with the air conditioning it was freezing and I hadn't brought a jumper with me so was shivering by the time I left but food was yummy!
When we were nice and full it was time to go find my favourite character so again mam found a shady bench and I went off to find the Animation building as I was told it was around here I'd find this guy:

He is my favourite Mickey Mouse love the Sorceror's apprentice outfit! Lotso was there as well. He was Huge!! But I thought the theming for his line was really cute the way it was done like the playschool halls:

Lotso's line was tiny there was about 5 people at the most in front of me.
The CM at Mickey Mouse said that Hollywood studios cue for Mickey Mouse is shortest of all the parks. I did notice a really cute little girl in that queue who I thought was really funny she cried and cried and cried while in the line and then the minute she went up to Mickey mouse started smiling and laughing and no trance of any tears lol! Super cute! I think two of the incredibles were there as well and again hardly no queue but I didn't wait for them!
After I got my pics with the characters we headed off to find Narnia as we'd never been there and then headed for pixar place again as it's new! I had been considering going on Toy Story Mania until I saw the wait time:

So instead we strolled about and headed back out towards the hat to grab a good spot for the Block Party Bash parade thingy it was a super hot day at that point. I was wearing crocs and my shoes actually started melting and people around me left to find shelter it was that hot waiting for parade. I think someone said it was was around 92 degrees that day so I totally admire the CM'S for the high energy performance they put on in that heat it was brill:

I had totally forgotten Lotso was in this parade until I saw the video again the other day!

After melting our way through the parade we sat down near the hat for another ice-cream treat and I had my very first Mickey Ice-cream bar

I also had a little bit of CM magic here as I was watching a CM going around giving out the Block Party Bash balls that they fire out at the end of the parade to kids and I was messing but said to Mam, "Ball mammy ball" obviously the CM heard me because he threw one over so have nice free ball from the parade

Thank you! I love them lol! I'm a big child really so love anything sparkly and they weren't the only pair that came home with me as you'll see eventually lol!

Sci Fi was really cool! We'd never done ADR's but I really liked the sound of it so wanted to see it. Totally worth it!

I got it all on vid as well but tapes are a bit damaged. I think they were faulty the sound keeps clipping on them but I can improvise for my holiday dvd and put other songs underneath the film footage Luvin looking back at them!

I love Seaworld. We considered not going in Sept to save money on tickets but got a deal and managed to get Adult at Child price tickets when we were searching and anyway couldn't miss Shamu. I'd love to do Discoery Cove again sometime as well. Did that as a 21st bday pressie and it was fab but so expensive!

Ok so when I left off we were melting away in the heat and attempting to cool off with Disney Ice-creams... I think I threw half a bottle of water over me as well to try cool down whatever works
This trip as well I really wanted to show Mam that we hadn't seen everything in the parks before. She's a disney fan but sometimes she'll ask why go back to same place over and over. So I had been trying to convince her before we left home that we hadn't seen the parks properly and made a point each day of picking at least one thing new to see so after our ice-creams we headed off for the Great Movie Ride.
We'd never done that before as we don't really like fast scary coasters and such and weren't sure what that was but decided to give it a go. It was different if not a little unusual. I found it strange when yer man was meant to be kinda kidnapping the crowd in the "car" he kinda just drove along in silence for a while but it was nice to see something we hadn't done before. After that we went to the American Idol experience:

Again we'd never done that before and it was interesting and fair play to the people that got up to sing in front of random strangers at disney I wouldn't do it!
Afterwards it was back to old favourites and Beauty and the beast. We went to the last showing of it and it was packed out so bad we couldn't get a seat together. Put it's a brill show so we stayed anyways:

I really wanted to run back over to the Muppets after Beauty and the beast but I also wanted to see Fantasmic again as we'd missed it the last time and when we came out of Beauty and the Beast the line for Fantasmic was getting crazy long so I decided to give the Muppets a miss for this year and we went to Fantasmic. It was brill but we got a little wet as we were sitting 8 or 9 rows from the front and didn't realise it was kinda a splash zone but after the heat of the day we didn't really mind get sprayed a little The pics didn't turn out great from Fantasmic but got these off the video:

After Fantasmic we had a quick snack in place called Rosie's All American Cafe according to the receipt before heading back towards our bus. Of course I took a few pics along the way:

I also have noted in my lil holiday diary that Hollywood studios was the best place for pin trading as I got the best pins in this park. Especially if you go to a CM after a child has been there. Some of the kids in HS were trading really nice pins with CM's that day so I was happy out.

I only went to American Idol because we hadn't seen it before in disney.. I porbably wouldn't be to pushed in going again.

No probs for fantasmic pics The middle bit does get kinda scary so she might get scared there but alls good in the end It amazes me at how fast Mickey Mouse does his changes though

I also forgot to mention above my question about beauty and the beast and not just the one in DHS but in all the shows I've seen of Beauty and the beast why is the beast better looking as a beast than when he turns back into a prince... maybe it's just me that thinks that way though

Day 9 is going to be long... So many pics for it lol! Just spent the past 5 hours putting the video bits onto the computer Day 9 hol dvd is going to be really long lol But one of the tapes was damaged as well

Day 9 was our second last day in Disney but it was our full day at Magic Kingdom day

We got hotel bus early to Epcot bus park and then had our very first monorail ride:

It was our fourth time in disney and first time on monorail. I was a little nervous because i'd been watching bad monorail videos and crashes on youtube before I went to Orlando. I really don't know why but anyways soon enough we got to Magic Kingdom ticket and transport area and decided to get boat from there:

Lots of people heading to the park again this morning! Soon enough we were on a busy main street trying to decide what direction to go in first:

These guys were out but we decided not to wait in line for pics so I took sneak pics:

Then we headed up to castle for the dream along with Mickey show:

Cute show and loved how the eyes and mouths moved on the characters although I did notice at the end Goofy was having a bit of trouble because he couldn't open his eyes and Donald had to lead him off stage
Also had a slight bit of video camera trouble here as the tape ran out half way through the show and I couldn't find my mummy who had the rest of the blank tapes so tried to get bits of vid with one camera and pictures with the second camera lol!
After that the Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it street party was due to start so we decided to stay where we were for that:

Chip and Dale stopped right in front of me... (My mum was gone off looking for shelter from the sun again) but I got loads of Chip dancing on the float on video and loads of pics of course:

After the parade we headed off in search of another disney treat...

Sorry started that and then realised it was time for Zumba (crazy but cool dance fitness class!)

Anyways after the Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it parade we were headed off to find a certain disney treat we hadn't had before but we met a CM going around handing out Mickey stickers to people so I got some and Mickeyfied my shorts:

In Liberty Square the band was out playing music and games with people so we stayed to watch for a while:

We were headed a particular direction for our "treat" so went to explore Adventureland and Frontierland along the way:

As we were passing through Frontierland Mam decided it was time for food and I had heard of a certain place on podcasts so wanted to try it so we headed for:

Crazy is the word that comes to mind for this. It was very very very busy! The CM's were alot confused and there was kids running around screaming and chasing each other. I like kids and I understand the fact that they get restless and whatever else what I don't like though it when in a restaurant the parents don't control their kids! My food nearly landed on the heads of two small girls that were playing chase around the serving area and the parents didn't seem to be anywhere near them! Then I got Angus Cheeseburger and fries and drink fine servers understood that. Whatever happened with my mother I think she asked for a meal and then fries on the side whatever happened anyway it took them ten minutes to get it right on the til and then when her tray came out some of her food was missing confusion much! She told me to go sit down as I had my food so off I went and couldn't find any seats inside so went to the outside seating area. Text mam to let her know and sat watching the door in case she went by. It was about 20 minutes I'd finished eating and went back inside to look for mam because there was no sign of her anywhere. I found her in a dark corner of the restaurant very upset because it had taken them bset part of 20 minutes to get her order right and then she couldn't find me hadn't seen the text and she was starting to panick so there was tears no. 1 for the day On the plus side I thought the food was great and they had an area with different salads and cheeses and sauces so you could add whatever you wanted to your burger. I've no food pics because of all the confusion though
While I was waiting outside Peco Bills for mam these guys went by as well:

After the big Peco Bill mess we went taking more pics and strolling through shops in the area:

We got down to Adventureland (have you guessed what treat I was looking for yet?) and Mam decided she wanted to just sit for a while so sat down in a covered area near the magic carpets while I ran off to look for Aloha Isle. I got a little confused here. I wanted a Dole Whip but the ice cream cups were called Dole Whips and that's not the pic I'd seen online.. the pic I'd seen online for "Dole Whips" were actually called pineapple floats. Anyways I got two ice cream cups and went back to mam and then this started:

Monsoon rain and Thunder and lightening. The thunder and lightening lasted all day even when it wasn't raining that was still going. We waited for a while for rain to ease and then headed back to Main street to try see the parade.
When we got there though we found out that due to the weather conditions they were thinking of cancelling the parade. Was kinda disappointed because it was our only chance this year to see the new parade.
So next would the parade go ahead or be washed away?!...

Once we got back to Main street the characters from the Dream along with Mickey show were out taking pics with people. I decided not to queue for pics so took sneek pics of them all... I love the ones where the character spots the sneek pic and poses though lol:

When they left it was just a waiting game to see if the parade or rain would start... While people were waiting the CM's were out amusing the crowd with huge bubbles, hula hoops and PUSH the talking dustbin.. This was funniest thing ever:

This bin was going around talking about looking for a spot for the parade and then people were taking pictures of him and he was going I don't know why people are taking pics of me I'm just a normal dustbin! I was watching kids going up trying to figure out how he was talking it was the best and funniest thing I've seen in ages... I might just be easily amused but I loved him
Shortly after PUSH was wandering about the volunteer parade started:

the parade started but then so did the rain/monsoon:

This was the best disney parade I've ever seen and I think it was because the rain made it all the funnier! After getting a little soaked watching the parade the shops made a fortune on everyone buying dry clothes as well lol!
After the parade I walked around taking more random pics and was very happy to finally find all these:

I reckon I've walked around Disney with my eyes closed for the last few visits because I never noticed those before but they're super cute!
After some picture taking it was time to try something new so we headed off to Tomorrowland for a visit to Mike Wasozski:

Never did this before and thought it was a funny, cute little show! Luved how they picked on people in the audience but at same time hoping it wasn't me

After the Laugh floor we headed off towards Toontown. I was on a mission to take pictures of everything I could there as the next time we get to Disney it won't be there anymore so first Mickey's house:

After strolling around the houses it was time to go find some fairy friends

wait was soooooooo long. Princess line seems to be moving all the time and fairies line just didn't move... after a really really long wait I eventually got shrunk down to size to enter the fairy world and meet:

A very glittery Tinkerbell said I had to fly a long way from Ireland!

And Vidia said I look like Lizzy from the last Fairies movie!

So after a long wait for Fairies I went off to find my mother again and we headed off to fantasyland for some rides and browsing shops of course!
I don't remember which shop in fantasyland this was but eitherway I never noticed the peeping tom before:

First ride was Snow White's Scary Adventures wait time was 15 minutes so this won over WTP it was 20 mins lol!:

Then Mickey's Philharmagic it said 5 minute wait but I reckon it was missing a 1 before that 5!!:

I have this pic as well as while we were waiting for everyone to get seated and show to start I was explaing the idea of a hidden Mickey or possible hidden Mickey to my mother

After that it was time for Mam's favourite ride Peter Pan:

After Peter Pan I legged it down to Main Street as it was nearly time for Disney's Electrical Parade.

After Parade I went searching for my mum again had lost her when I made my dash for to get to Parade on time and then we went to find a spot to watch Wishes
The castle was doing it's usual colour changing thing I think I got a pic of every colour won't put them all here but I love the Pink one:

Then Wishes started. (I also loved the way they had two different colours on the castle at times like this pic):

My absolute fave colour of the castle is the Blue with the moon and stars like Sorcerors hat:

The thunder and lightening had been going all day even when the rain stopped and when wishes was on over to the left the sky was joining in and there was Fork lightening over Adventureland side of Disney... Looked kinda cool didn't catch it on vid or in a pic though. After Wishes I was teary eyed because it was meant to be our last park day (I say meant to be!) and I didn't want to leave disney We took our time leaving and decided to get a taxi back to Hotel so to avoid crowds we stopped off to explore the main street bakery and get some disney food to bring on the next part of our trip

Two things first I wanted to go to disney this year.. hey it's my happy place and it's great but I want to go to Disney Florida as I love florida. The person that promised me they'd come is now not coming so if I wanna go I have to go solo.. I still wanna go though even though it's a bit far to go alone. I wanna see the Parks at Xmas and stay in a disney hotel. Am I mad to go alone??

Second thing for various reasons I've been a bit depressed recently and this morning was particularly upset and looking in mirror getting ready for work I spotted a hidden Mickey on my top. I've had this top for a few years and never noticed it before. but it made me smile when I saw it pics a bit blurry though:
