If I have a "complaint" with Disney, who can I email?

Is there a website or an email address I can use to contact them?

i would like to know as well for my sister she just got back and had stories to tell me about mgm.. she said never in all the times we have been down there that the cast members where so rude

I have no complaint about their CM's or anything, I just want to let them know about my disappointment with the Christmas festivities starting late. I work in retail and we have a vacation blackout from the week of Thanksgiving until January. In years past I was able to go down the week before Thanksgiving to get my Disney / Christmas vacation, but with this late start, I will now never be able to enjoy it. Im sure this vacation blackout is common with anyone who works in management in retail. I realize that they offer the MVMCP early still and Im grateful for that, but what about the rest of WDW's Christmas festivities? Anyone else have this issue?

i see why are they doing that :( but anyway just a helpful number to tell them what we think would be nice

The actual address for Guest Communications is :
Walt Disney World Guest Communications
PO Box 10040
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040

I don't know of an email address though. Maybe someone else will.

I have to say that I actually find it refreshing that they aren't starting the Christmas festivities until after Thanksgiving this year. I went in 2001 for the first time at T-day and it was like magic with the Christmas decorations just appearing the day after. I am pretty much out of the Christmas spirit by the time the day actually gets here because it's always out so early. Although I do sympathize with you.

I think a hard copy would be better then an email. Emails are to easily overlooked in my opinion.

I would definitely agree that its nice to have it after Thanksgiving and if I was able to go after that I would have no issues, but Im stuck with what I have. :(

Yikes! I have never experienced a rude CM, knock on wood. What did they do or say?

just that all day cast members where rude she did not get in to detail.. but one of the things was that they went to see buzz and it was 4 minutes after he started to sign and they said the line was closed. they never told them the next time or nothing just very rude. we know about the shifts for char because of the heat. she was to the point that she told me she would never go back to mgm... i wish i was there to see it myself but this is just word of mouth and for all the times we have been there for her to say it something is wrong... i wish that cast members could say look we are having a bad day because of x so dont mind us.. there are so many factors to why people become rude it is just ashame that for a veterian of disney to have a bad time to say this to me.. well ill tell you it will not deter me from going

I take that back. We did have rude CMs at the California Grill and the All-Star Sports Resort but not in the parks.

I can see both sides. I know everything Christmas is getting earlier and earlier. I also know with a husband in IT for a retail company, they frown upon any vacations between Thanksgiving week and New Years.

disneyworld.com has an email address at the bottom of the page and in many other spots. You can email them, they then forward it to whoever and they have always responded (in person) to my emails.

I also work Retail Management and we have Blackout from Thanksgiving to Christmas too. But with my kids in school I can't really go down during that time anyway, our 1st trip down we were going to right after Christmas until we learned that was the busiest time of the year, so we opted for September and love it. Don't get me wrong I would love too, but I have come to accept we cannot.

1) I agree.
2) I am tired of Christmas theming coming out so soon.
3) I have felt this for years.
4) Thanksgiving is plenty of time for Christmas theming to begin.

So the Christmas theme isn't out until the day after Thanksgiving? But they do the Christmas party before Thanksgiving? I am just a little confused.:confused3

That does seem odd, doesn't it? Well, I suppose it's because they make money with the party and lose money with the decorations.

E-mail will actually go further faster. WDW gets an enormous amount of snail mail, most of it addressed to the characters. Your hard copy letter is far more likely to be routed to the wrong place than an e-mail.

We came across a very rude cm at mk.
They where letting people through while the parade was going on, and we waited our turn to go across and the cm stoped the line before my 12 year old was able to get to the other side with us.
I had a hold of my younger two, and my 12 year old was right with me, but somehow got cut off.
I told a cm that my daughter was still on the other side.
He said "well why would you let a little girl walk around by herself":confused3
I never said that she was off walking by herself:confused:
The parade hadn't even started to go across yet and he still wouldn't let her through:mad: Well to make a long story short we told a manager and they didn't do anything about him. I had my daughter back with us by this time:)
So yes there are rude cm's out there, but don't think just because it's Disney that they will do anything about it.
