If I buy OKW resale...

I know that current OKW owners were recently offered a contract extension past their original 50 yr contract.

If I buy a resale sometime in 2008, when will my contract expire? Will I have the option of extending the contract?

If you purchase a resale where the current owner has accepted the extension, it will be good until January 31, 2057. If the seller has not taken the extension it will expire on January 31, 2042. You would be able to extend, but the cost will reportedly be $25 per point after February 29, 2008. Presently OKW owners may extend their contracts for $15 per point as long as it's done by February 29, 2008.

If you buy OKW direct from Disney you get the extension.
