If I book now - will PIN codes still come??

I have been inundated lately with special offers and PIN codes, but nothing we could use.

If I go ahead and book something - how likely is it that my name will disappoear from the PIN code database??

I hate to wait to book in case nothing comes, but hate to take away my chance for a nice discount for Spring Break!

No one knows exactly how PIN codes are distributed ... signing up at the WDW website and giving them your email address at least gets you in the running. Some say ordering the vacation planning DVD also works, others say to price out some resorts and save them to your profile. There are many theories out there to getting the illusive PIN codes but the end of the day none of us know for sure how the selection process is done. There is no guarantee if you do any of those things you'll get one and some of us have done all these things but still haven't gotten a PIN

Thanks - we have gotten so many lately, but imagine if we book they will stop as there is no reason to send me a discount if I have it booked at rack rate....oh well....decisions, decisions...

I booked a trip last year for March 2010 in mid October. I received a pin code for the dates that we had booked about a week later. It covered Jan - May or something like that. So it could still happen.

I sure hope so because I just booked our May trip on Tuesday!! I did receive a pin code last year after I had already booked so I think we'll be okay.
