If I book a cruise online and then use points....

Do I still get the $25 onboard credit for booking online? If we don't use points for all passengers, do I get the $50 onboard credit for using the Disney credit card for the remaining balance?

If you book on-line then call DVC, your existing reservation will be cancelled and a new one created. Cruise reservations made thru DVC do not get any OBC. You would also not be eligible for the 0% interest offer from Chase.

Currently there is no availability for cruises on points until Oct 2012.

When I called last week they said I could switch to points... They also said that we'd be in the same room and basicly nothing would change other than we'd be using points...

I figured that was the case with the OBC and interest though. Bummer!
