how far of a walk will it be to Pioneer Hall area, trading post, beach? I was just wondering how long it would take to walk over there from that loop. thanks!

We've stayed in loop 300 several times. The walk is no problem even coming in exhausted from the parks, it was no big deal.:)

If you are walking from the 300 loop and heading toward the dock or the trading post there is a small shortcut if you go through the 100 loop. Stay to the left in the 100 loop and you will come to a path that end at the trading post. This can save a couple of minutes off your walk and at the end of a very long day every little bit helps.

I am sitting in the 100 loop right now and we walked a bit tonight. Its a fast walk, maybe 5 min at a normal pace.

It would take longer to get on and exit the bus than to just walk it.

How well lit are the loops at night? I am thinking we will be walking in circles exhausted, lol. I will try to find that path though, in the daytime. You know how it is in the summer, you want to walk leisurely and take your time, it's so hot and humid. When staying at the Fort, i really don't want to rush anyways!

The path itself should be lit enough that you can see where you are going. In the loops, for the most part, any lighting will be provided by the lights that people hang on the individual sites. That being said... it is not that dark and you should not have problems with walking in circles. Also, when you check in you should get a map of FW and the path will be on the map.
