If had to skip a park, would it be AK or MGM?

I would choose MGM, there is much more to do there IMO especially for young kids. My ds was 7 last time we were at WDW and although he LOVES animals, he liked MGM a lot better than AK.

If I get to MGM after 2:00 pm will these shows still be running (and will we get in with the heavy crowds)? Will my DH still be able to get on ToT and RocknRoller Coaster?

When will you be going? We went last year in the July and it rained every afternoon, we normally left at around 2:00 pm. With 2 little girls, it was just not comfortable to walk in the rain even we have ponchos.

It seems like @ 4 - 5 were the last times for many of the MGM shows - the ones with the outdoor settings. The Little Mermaid runs longer into the evening. We saw it @ 8:00.
