I keep hearing about hurricane season in Sept and we have been twice in Sept once in 2005 & 2006 and I never even saw a cloud or a rain drop!!!! It that just rare?

Just curious if people will still go in Sept if free dining is not offered. I don't think my family would. If I have to pay for dining, I would rather go in Jan when it is cooler. I am still hopeful for free dining though!

No way! There is no way we would go back in September unless there was Free Dining. My husband said it was like vacationing on the face of the sun!

if no dining..we will wait until dec..i will only pull the kids out of school if im going to save a bundle...if free dining is offered it will save me 1300.00. thats worth pulling them out for a week in my opinion

No, if free dining is not offered to the general public this year, I will change our ressie to a cooler time..maybe November.
This year we will be considered four adults...dining would cost us $1063!! So free dining is quite a savings for us.

Yes and No ...
I couldn't care less if it rained buckets for the entire time I was there. I love thunderstorms.. and I don't melt so it's all good.
I am really not too excited about the heat though. My dd went with her Aunt around the same time last year and they said the humidity was just terrible.
I booked specifically with free dining in mind and smaller crowds in mind.
On my list of things that make me miserable Giant crowds was at the top.

September is the only time I can go this year, and I just found out about the possibility of free dining. I was going to pay for dining anyway so what a possible bonus! I hope for the best but I am going anyway.

The trip is the half way party for my husband being gone. He will be deployed from may to dec. I had to come up with something for the kids to look forward too and not miss dad so much. Disney was the best Idea. Now my son is thinking about the trip not the length his step dad will be gone. Same for my almost two year old.

I hope disney does do the free dining I would save 480.
