I just picked my first pepper crop. I've cleaned and stuffed them : Something is going on

" My Hands are on Fire"

These aren't Sweet Italian Peppers.

Be listening in at 10:00 when I arrive home from work. You may be able to hear me clear across the country. Hopefully the ice pack works and my hands have cooled off.

YOUCH!!! That had to hurt! I have grown really hot serrano peppers before and suffered the consequences of handling them without gloves on. Even managed to get some of the oil into my eye (dumb me... rubbed my eye). YIKES!

I pretty much just grow sweet bell peppers anymore! LOL!

Ouch, Mamu! Maybe you can try what my Mom does. Get a box of latex gloves for these kinds of tasks. I hope it clears up soon.

Are you okay this morning Mamu? Did the ice packs help? Did DH dare to come home?

DH has two pots of hot peppers growing, and I only water them, he can take care of the rest.



btw - I love stuffed peppers.....yum!!

Yes they have stopped burning.

DH just laughed My problem now is I have 3 dozen HOT PEPPER PLANTS that were suppose to be sweet. Grrrrr

Yes I would have used gloves Had I Known!

Guess who will be starting next years pepper crop! Not DH. No saving seeds this year, I will be buying new pepper seeds next spring.
