If breakfast ends at 11:00am...

Hi!
I'll be booking our ADR's in a month, and it will be our first trip to WDW with the family (I haven't been since I was a child). A lot has changed....

I am thinking we will do AK EMH one day, and then head to Boma for a brunch. If the breakfast at Boma runs from 7:30am-11:00am, how does having a late breakfast/brunch work? What I mean is...if we schedule an 11:00am brunch, will they keep out the breakfast foods until those breakfast eaters (us!) are done, or will we get the "leftovers" and not much selection? Will we be rushed so they can clear? Or...since there is no lunch service, do they factor in staying open until about noon or 12:30am in order to accommodate all the late morning reservations (which makes more sense...but sometimes restaurants don't do what makes sense!)

I am thinking of a 10:30am-11:00am reservation to give us optimal touring time in the morning, but do I need to push it back to 10:00am?

Any one eaten at this time?

There is not lunch at Boma. Since it would appear you have the final reservation time for breakfast, I think you might get what's left unless you request something.

The latest breakfast ADR I have ever been able to get is 10:25 am for an 11am stoppage.

As others have said, Boma does not serve lunch. Even if you make a reservation for the latest possible time, there will still be only breakfast food on the buffet. Nothing to worry about.

If I have a 10:15 ADR at BOMA - is that enough time for breakfast before they close? And since it is so close to closing, is the food still fresh near the end?

We do 10:30 breakfasts most everywhere we go. We tried the early morning breakfasts and before rope drop, and while they are fun, prefer the later ones. A few times, the buffet selection has gotten smaller as people left the restaurants, meaning they only had one side of the buffet open as opposed to both. However, the food has been fresh and we were not rushed out, anymore than you are at other restaurants trying to turn tables.

We've done 11:00 breakfasts and in some cases weren't even sat until almost 11:30. Most of the breakfast items were still out and even pretty fresh. A few were picked through or low, but I'm sure they'll get more of that item if it's still available if you request it.

I have an ADR at Akershus for 10:45, at Donald's Breakfast Safari at 10:15, Goofy's Beach Blast at 9:00, Crystal Palace at 10:20 and 1900 Park Fare at 10:10.
As you can see, we like to eat a late breakfast. We either spend a few hours in the park (if it's an EMH morning) and then eat breakfast or just head directly to the breakfast if we have slept in a bit. It makes it nice not to have to stop for lunch. Then, we get a snack midafternoon and have a nice table service dinner.

I have never had a lessening of the quality of food by dining late in the morning. The food has always been as plentiful and hot as it was when I went to early ADRs.

We had a late brunch time at Beach Club and while there was plenty of food, as others have stated, some things were not replenished. My daughter took the last doughnut and my son asked for more and they told him that was it. Didn't go over well!

I also had a late breakfast at Boma during my stay in March. Never really missed luch since there are so many breakfast options I wasn't hungry until dinner. Enjoy your vacation.
