If all theme parks left Florida, what buisness would the state rely on next to fill the money loss?

As people move due to the complexities of saltwater aquifer intrusion, coastal erosion, rising seawater temps, increasing hurricane costs, and the rising cost of insurance, they could gradually re-wild the state and turn it largely into protected wildlife habitat, and become global leaders in ecosystem protection, biodiversity, and endangered and threatened species preservation.

I mean, they certainly could. But before all the people left, they would first have to get rid of the current governor and the entire state legislature.

The original post’s question makes about as much sense as asking if the moon were made of cheese, who much fondue could mankind consume? All theme parks will never leave Florida.

Not true. Theme parks might not be a thing in 50 years. If so, what then?

I prefer my moon cheese to be stringy and Central Florida to go with my earlier idea on PrisonWorld(tm)

Agree. I'd probably eat moon cheese on crackers (assuming it's got a mild flavor), but I'm not much for fondue, so I think I could be left out of the calculation on how much fondue humans would consume.

Depends on where you’re looking at. Widely publicized reports of 100+ degree water were from a sensor in Manatee bay - different conditions from ocean temps.
DisneyOma asked how the water temp was around 'my area' and that is the info I gave them. I cannot answer about Manatee Bay
But 1 degree above normal for ocean temps is a pretty big difference. Not enough to directly kill most marine life, but enough to shift their patterns, increase algae growth, and affect non-mobile life (coral bleaching).
A couple degrees up or down is pretty standard in our area depending on the summer. With how hot it's been the last few weeks, I am pleasantly surprised that the water temp is right around the average.
Hope it doesn’t get worse, but it seems the signs are not positive.
