: We are staying at the all star resort and for the extra hours do the children have to have ids as well or is it as long as they are traveling with an adult? :

If the kids are old enough they will be issued key-cards by the resort at check-in.
The cards can be carried by an adult, but will need to be shown at EMH as an ID to allow the park CM's to issue a wrist-band for each person.

If the kids are very young, they won't need a key-card, but the resort check-in CM will know to help you take care of those details when you arrive.
 
When we were there in FEB the CM would put a special bracelet on your wrist BUT we had to show our KTTK. That showed we were staying in one of the Resorts in WDW!!! :thumbsup2
 
Depends on the age. Youngest kids all have ids. By three or so they get egos, and superegos by 5 or 6. Freud's making a comeback...
