DD and I will be there from April 2 - 11. I think this trip I will take my small backpack that I always carry while in the parks to our local air-brush booth at the mall and have a lime green Mickey head with DIS in the center air-brushed on as large as pssible. We have tried lime green ribbons and laminated Mickey heads on past trips with no luck.

I planned a lime green day for my family during our December trip. All four of us were wearing green shirts that day. When we got to MK that afternoon and they taping for the Christmas parade. Wayne Brady, Kim Locke and Jim Brickman were performing in front of the castle. We went to watch and be part of the crowd but my kids couldn't see. A nice family in front of us offered to let the kids sit in front of them. I thanked the woman and she said, 'Are you from the disBoards with all that green?'. We talked for just a few seconds and I didn't know if it was polite to ask someone's screenname so I didn't! So, if you are reading this, thank you again!!!!

I wish we could still buy Dis Board pins. (I tried buying one on the Dis Board Shop but it didn't work). I wouldn't mind pinning a Dis Board pin to my backpack or a sweatshirt.

I would feel pretty comfortable approaching someone wearing a Dis pin and saying "Hey, I'm Aunt Kelly on the Dis Board!" However, I don't think I'd have the nerve to ask someone wearing lime green shorts if they posted on the Dis Board.

I picked up a hugh stack of lime green mickeys at HD--

(poor HD they are probably wondering why crazy people are running out of their stores with handfuls of lime green mickey head paint chips! )

i will be in disney 9/23-10/1. i will use them on my luggage and my backpack. however, i think i will write-- the GOT DIS? on mine. if anyone sees me-- please say hello!

I saw a woman wearing lime green crocs in the bathroom next to the fire dept/town hall on Main St in MK yesterday (2/10) morning.. I was going to say hello but she was on her way out and my 4 year old (AKA The Pee Pee Queen) was tugging urgently on my arm... LOL

I went in Oct with a lime green backpack with the DIS board pin on it. We meet 4 different ppl from the boards there. My DS 21 thought it was really cool how they came up and introduced themselves as DISers. Hope to meet somemore when I go in April and June.

It worked for me! Last year I met a fellow DISer while waiting for Peter Pan (I think). She saw the HD Mickey Head on my yellow backpack, and asked if I frequented the boards.

That reminds me... I've got to dig up my set from last year or head to HD for some new ones. We're headed out two weeks from today . I'll be keeping an eye out for more signs.

I had a HD Mickey head on our stroller, lime green ribbons and a lime green bandana. Nobody talked to us. BUT on our last day strolling through our food court came a gal with a button on with DIS. My dh thought I was crazy but I stopped here and introduced myself. It was fun talking to her. We both gave out our screen name (best I could remember, lol).

I am going to pick up some lime green Mickey heads for our next trip in December. I plan on using a Sharpie to write "GOT DIS" and "DISer" on them and then laminating them at work.

My DH came home from HD with a stack full of Lime Green Mickey heads.He said he was tired of hearing me talk about them but I think he wanted to see them as much I did

We just got back from WDW on Monday night. (Wish I was still there)...
I had the lime green mickey on my backpack and a lime green strap on our stroller---didn't get to meet any DISers though. I didn't see anyone else with lime green, either. Oh well...maybe next time. I'm trying to talk my hubby into bringing our twins again next FEB!

I thought your board name would give you anonimity. By using it, no one really knows you. Also, I'm wondering why you would go to the bother of using the lime green mickey heads, if you don't want people to know you are on the Dis. If I saw someone with HD mickey heads on their backpack, and I approached them, and they said they were not on the dis, I'd feel soooo foolish.

I agree - why bother wearing anything lime green at all if you don't want to say who you are - especially the paint heads - THAT certainly HAS to be just a DISboard thing!

I created the following image and would be glad to customize it (can be used for a transfer on an adult t-shirt size on down) I can use most any font or font color. I can modify the www. address to just read DISboards too.

I think I will print this up (probably on an expensive piece of fabric and hang it from my son's stroller - then it won't look like HE'S TravelinGal... )
