June 22 - 25 I'll be at a conference at the Grosvenor Resort (I know, I know... I didn't pick the location) where activities will end between 7 and 9 PM.

In addition to DTD, what suggestions do you have for activities that can be reched via Disney Transportation? For example, can we get to the mini golf locations? Any ideas for activities at the other resorts? The group will be adults.

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Not sure but I THINK you can walk over to the BB mini golf course if you take the BB bus.

I do know if you take the S/D bus and get off at the Swan and then you can walk across the street to the Fantasia mini golf course.

We also like to go to AKL and check out the animals in the savannah area and then have dinner at JIKO. You can have lunch or dinner at any of the resorts (and reach them by bus).

It's also fun to have lunch or dinner at one of the MK resorts and then take the monorail around again. You can check out one of the dinner shows like the POLY Luau or HDDR at FW (that you need ADR's for way in advance).

If you decide on a EPCOT resort restaurant you can stroll around the BW area afterwards. At night they have little shows on the BW, fun. We enjoy this almost nightly when we stay at the Swan.

If you do any meals make sure to have ADR's. Very busy this time of year. ;)

hey there, I went to a conference at the grosvenor in 2001- our first disney trip- and I actually lOVED the resort. It's withing EASY walking distance of DTD AND they have great busses. Best thing about the busses compared to the onsites is that they fold up your stroller and put it UNDER the bus! :)

I stayed at the Grosvenor for two weeks in 2004. Please don't assume it'll be bad. The staff went out of their way to help us, they were fantastic.
You practically just cross a road and you're in Downtown Disney. It's a nice hotel, the shuttles were pretty good too.

I know that when we stayed at AKL the bus that took us back from DTD stopped at BB 1st, So taking that bus from DTD to AKL would stop at BB which you could walk over to winter summer mini golf. If you go later at night ask the bus driver if this is possible, it would be bad if you were stuck there. I do seem to remember that we made a stop there late one night, because I thought it odd BB had been closed for such a time,"why stop?".

Also take a bus from DTD to FW, and spend time over there. They have campfire, barn with horses, goats, etc., carrige rides, and hoop dee doo review.

You could take the Boardwalk bus and do all of the activites at night there.

We have stayed at the Grosvenor twice and really enjoyed both our stays. The second time included a dinner and we got there around midnight and so dinner was out. They changed it for a breakfast instead without even thinking about it.

Our first room was a tower room with a DTD view and it was great. We have even comsidered satying there for our entire trip, but ended up getting a better deal at a value resort.

I think you will like the Grosvenor.
