Ideas on how to surprise DH with RPDE

Our anniversary is 3 days before we leave for WDW. I have purchased DH a RPDE. I am trying to think of the best way to surprise him. Should I wrap up the confirmation and release form and give it to him before we leave, or should I make up a story about something going on there and tell him when we get to the gate? Any ideas about how or when to surprise him? Would you guys out there rather have a couple days to anticipate and get used to the idea of doing it, or be totally surprised at the door? Please ALL ideas appreciated!

I just did something similar to this for my brothers 40th birthday. I got him a Segway tour.

What I did was find a picture of a person on a segway in epcot and cropped my DB's face onto it. Then I wrote "your segway into your forties!
and gave him the time and confirmation#.
It was a big hit! Everyone got a good laugh at the picture also. ( not a very fit person that I picked for the picture, if you can imagine it!!)

You find a picture of someone in one of the cars and could write something like.... "you drive me wild" or "I hope I still drive you wild"... you get the idea!

I would surprise him before you leave. Get him a new NASCAR cap, or shirt, and wrap up the tickets
I did the ride along last week. The second best part was driving our rental car thru the track tunnel into the infield. The check in trailers are in the infield. That was almost as much fun as the 3 lap ride along. I had a blast.

Maybe a toy car in a box and make him guess what it means. Or maybe a diarama of the experience. I almost did this for DH, fortunately he reminded me he can't drive stick!

Shoes99, if DH get to be in the #8, I won't be able to stand him for the rest of the trip! Huge Jr. fan!!

I was thinking about the drive under the tunnel all that. It probably would be better to tell him before, so he can really get into the whole,"this is what the drivers do" frame of mind.

I hope he remembers how to drive a stick! It's been awhile!
