I will do some searching around over the next day or so and let you know. Thanks.

I am, but I married an American and am in some kind of limbo where I am neither until it is all settled.

If not for that I would have loved to go to Niagara on the Lake for a few days.

Thanks for all the great ideas folks. Keep them coming.

Atleast it looks like the weather on the east coast is looking good for this weekend. I think it's supposed to go above 70 for Sunday!

Yipee!:sunny:

I would love to visit Niagara Falls someday. I bet that it's gorgeous!:D

After I posted I thought of the perfect thing I would want to do - I just found that the Queen Elizabeth 2 is leaving out of New York City for a cruise to nowhere for four days in May. That would be a great vacation and easy to get on and off for you.

I am drawing a complete blank trying to find any info about this. Anyone have any ideas?

I found it through Icruise by doing a port search but here is the link to the page where it talks about it. I hope it really exists because it would be very cool and it seems to be fairly reasonable too.
http://res.icruise.com/search/displayDepart.jsp?pos=30&where=null&agencyID=AB12 Pull down the menu to departure port for New York then you will get a lot of results - you need to go to the fourth page of records for New York cruises to see the QE2 cruise to nowhere. Let me know if this doesn't work for you. They appear to have three categories of rooms left available - premium balcony, standard outside and standard inside.
I didn't check the QE2 website because I just wasn't personally interested although it would be veyr nice to do it.

Atlantic City, Wildwood NJ, Lancaster, Hershey... We are going to Wildwood for Fathers Day weekend and Lancaster and Hershey in July. How about Foxwoods and Mystic Seaport? That area is nice.
