Ideas for non-park days?

Anyone have any unique ideas for non-park days over the Thanksgiving weekend? Trying to come up with a couple of things that an 8 year old boy would enjoy.

Go resort hopping. The Christmas decorations are up. At Ft. Wilderness they have a petting zoo. You could go to DTD and there is Disney Quest.
