Me and my wife are taking out 6 year old neice on her first disney trip at the end of February. Her birthday falls during our trip and wanna do something unique during the trip to celebrate her birthday, any ideas?

When my dd turned 12 we stayed at the wilderness lodge. We had dinner reservations at whispering canyon and I pre ordered a cake from them. They presented it at our table and we had to sing happy birthday to her in front of the entire restaurant. It was nice she is 21 now and her brother 17. You could even have a special cake for the room. You could take her to BB boutique and get her hair and nails done not sure of the cost.

At six, you don't really have to do anything "unique." Get her a birthday button and have her birthday noted on all reservations. Do a special meal with her favorite characters.

If she likes princesses, consider doing BBB.

You certainly don't have to do anything unique but if you do:
* definitely note it on the dining reservations. Free cupcakes will probably make her day.
* princess or character meal, depending on her interests.
* BBB, though expensive
* tea at the GF
* she gets an outfit and/or a tiara to wear around
* Pirates League if that's more her style -- tends to be cheaper than BBB as well (though about $50). DD was 9 and loved it!
* make sure to do lunch at BOG!

DD7 will have her 8th birthday during our trip in March. This is not a surprise trip so I let her pick the park we go to, the fast passes she wanted, a special dinner at restaurant of her choice at that park (we don't park hop). Her birthday is noted on the trip reservation, so she should get a birthday pin as well. She will probably get a toy or something of her choice as well.

We are going for my daughters 6th birthday. We are doing BBB and CRT. My daughter is a princess dress wearer so I am making her a birthday sash. I am having a special dessert delivered to dinner at CRT. I think the kids will just love being told happy birthday by everyone.

We are also decorating our room with balloons and princess decorations.

Have a great trip. She will have a blast.

You could do Pick a Pearl in EPCOT and have the pearl put in a cage or mounted there. That way she would have something to keep forever. They do a cute little ceremony too, DD loved it at that age.

HDDR is a fun dinner show where they make a big deal about birthdays.

I second the idea for a tiara. You could also get a sash that says "birthday girl." I'd bring these along rather than pay park prices. When she wakes up on the morning of her birthday, they can be sitting on the bed ready to wear.
