Ideas for masters thesis

Well, after finally having moved in and settled down, I really need to start working on my masters thesis in Intercultural Management.

My only problem is, I still haven´t been able to figure out completely what I want to do research on. The only thing I know is that I want it to be within the field of ethics or corporate social responsibility (CSR).

So, if anyone has any good ideas or knows of a place on the internet where I can look up other masters thesis I would really appreciate it.

I imagine Disney would lend itself very well to your subject. Certainly the part abour corporate responsibility!

Timberland is very heavy into corporate social responsibility. You may also want to discuss how CSR directly affects employee morale (i.e., the more involved an employee is, the happier, more satisfied they are).

it might be interesting to study the impact computer (vs. human) interaction has played in the ethical behaviour of people.

i bring this up because i worked for a service based industry that was in the process of implementing an intake system wherein the applicant would input data into a terminal vs. handwriting the data and reviewing it face to face with an agency representative. during planning sessions studies were cited that indicated that a person may be more prone to omit information or provide fraudulent information due to the lack of human interaction (it is easier "mentaly" to lie to a faceless pc. of equipment that will not question your body language or guage your tone of voice). i believe there are also studies that have shown higher rates of employee fraud when procedures move from paper to systems-something about the mentality of being able to say "oh i must have entered the date wrong, or i hit the wrong key).

Thanks for your replies. QT Pooh, the aspect of employee moral is actually something I have considered doing research on. I must say barkley that your point is also very interesting and something I will definately look into.
