"Mickey" always sneaks into our room at the resorts and leaves gift bags for the kids on each of our Disney trips. They contain stuff that usually will be used during the trips. Like, when we were going to Blizzard Beach, they got new bathing suits and matching beach towels. Or hats for in the parks. Or light-up toys for Fantasmic. Candy, small stuffed animals, etc. Last year, they got new lanyards filled with pins. When we had our Disney Store here, it was a piece of cake finding small articles to fill up the bags, but now that the store is gone, it's getting more difficult each time.
We're going on a Disney cruise in October, but are spending a couple of days in the parks before the trip. Any ideas for what I can get for their gift bags that they can use on the cruise? I'm going to use buckets on this trip, so they can already have their beach toys for Castaway Cay, but can you think of anything else to put in there that I might have missed. Neither one needs a new bathing suit - they've each got several, and we definitely don't need anymore beach towels. So far, all I can think of is the sand toys, a float, and candy. Their ages are 7 and 4.
They'll be getting them at the resort, not on the ship. We've got it down to a science, Mommy goes and "finds" the room while Daddy and the kids start unloading the van. Being our first cruise, not sure if I can so easily pull that off on the boat. So, they could get some items that could be used in the parks too, I suppose.
Don't need autograph books or pens. I just can't think of anything else.

, that we're really only hitting the highlights at the parks and saving our energy for the cruise. Basically, we're just doing the parks to see the new rides and attractions and the castle all decorated.
