I have all of our ADR's for our week at WDW, but I had to take what was available vs. my plan. We currently have AK Tusker house for lunch on our arrival date, and MK Crystal Palace for dinner at 7:30. Being our first trip (and getting up at 3 am to leave), I don't think I really want to go to MK after AK closes. Any suggestion for a dinner (that we still may be able to get ressies for) that would be a good time for our daughter 6yo, and get us to bed at a decent time?

Hi! I agree with you that I bet your kids will be tired after having to get up at 3am. I wouldn't suggest going to MK after AK myself only because it may be overload for your little ones (again just my opinion).
If you were looking to do a character type dinner, did you think of Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary or the Park Fare at GF, or possibly Mickey's BBQ ( I think it starts about 5:00)? Maybe you can get into one of those places earlier than 7:00. Another suggestion is HoopDeDoRevue, they have a 5:00 seating, my DD4 loved it and it would be over by 6:45. Or simply do a counter service that night and get to bed early.
Hope this helps-good luck.

Don't know were you are staying ??? on or off ??
I wouldn't go to MK either. what ages are your children??
*I agree with chef mickeys.
*How about Trails end at the campgrounds and maybe sit in on chip and dales campfire at 7 pm. on the boat ride back you may catch a glimpse of fireworks or water parade.
* DTD Earl of sandwich( no need for ressies)
*Ghiradellis for just Ice cream...YOUR ON Vacation why not, Your kids will think your the coolest!!!!!Ice cream for dinner!!

Our family tradition is to go to DTD and eat and shop. This way, it lets me check out the latest Disney merchandise at the World of Disney and don't have to spend so much time shopping when we are at the parks. Shopping drives my husband crazy. All he wants to do is ride the rides.
