Ideas for elementary school Spirit week?

Cute idea with the vacation tee shirts. I also hate PJ day. I agree it may be a bit inappropriate with teh way some children dress. TY everyone!

We love pajama day. My boys are not "morning people" and it cuts a good 20 minutes off of prep time if they don't have to change clothes.

Since they're boys, though, we don't have much of a problem with appropriate clothing. They just wear t-shirts and jammy pants, it seems that's what everyone wears, I've never noticed anyone running around in lingerie.

Trying to remember what all theme days they've done- silly socks, school colors, sports team, inside out day, sweats, tie-dye (I think it was Hippie Day)...

Sorry, if this has been suggested already. My kids love either ice cream float day or build a sundae. They donate 1.00 to help cover the cost and its done over the lunch hour. Any proceeds are then donated to a local charity. They have fun, and its a good community service too.
