Hi! My best friend is getting married on the the 16th and we want to do something just girls at the parks. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Does it have to be in the parks? Do you have cars? Are you looking for a party kind of experience or just a fun girl day?

Have you considered one of the Sammy Duvall watersports at Contemporary? Parasailing or jet skiing. You could do that and then maybe Chef Mickeys.

Fort Wilderness has horseback riding.

What about getting your hair color sprayed with Mickey confetti at the Magic Kingdom barber shop?

You could look into a fireworks cruise at EPCOT or Grand Floridian.

Rix Lounge is at Coronodo Springs, and it's like a bar/club. I've heard the attendance is hit or miss though. Of course if you're good at making your own fun that or Atlantic Dance Hall would be fun (I think both don't have a cover charge. Jellyrolls does.)

You could do the afternoon tea at Grand Floridian.

The Hoop-de-Doo Musical Review at Fort Wilderness is fun.

Drinking around the World (Showcase) is probably the easiest but can get pricey getting a drink at every country.

There is Howl at the Moon on International Drive (also a piano bar like Jellyrolls but bigger) and other restaurants/bars.

I'm not a partier or drinker. We did afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. It was a really lovely experience. Depending on your personality, this might be an option to consider.

We went to the Biergarten in Epcot the night before my wedding. It was a blast! Great beer, great food, great music, and an overall great time!

I think your friend would have the best time at Epcot-it's got a really fun nightlife atmosphere :)

Another really fun option is to make ADR's for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. Another really fun time!

Maybe a pool day, at the resort. Then head out of dinner, and fireworks. Not sure if the wedding is the next day. But I would keep it simple and relaxing. watch the adult beverage intake... no-one want hang-:0ver wedding pic's.

You might want to get some shirts made for the day.

My bridal party and I are spending the day by the pool (just be sure to wear sunscreen...don't wanna be sunburnt for the big day!) then we're going to CityWalk at Universal.

For my bachelorette party we did the monorail crawl :). We started at the Grand Floridian where we had dinner and a few drinks. Then we took the monorail to the Contemporary. My one friend and myself are DVC members so we went to the Top of the World lounge! Love that place. If you are able to go say Hi to Mike the bartender, if he's working! We loved him. Then it was back on the monorail and off to the Poly. We closed down the Tambu Lounge. My friends surprised me with a "special cake". I did put this in my PJ/TR (which I still need to finish) it's under Jodi and Raphael's Disney Dream Wedding if you are interested.

Have fun whatever you decide to do
Jodi
