With the August bank holiday nearly over my thoughts are truning to the autumn. I really hate the shorter days and colder weather (I love wearing my sandals!)
So I thought I'd start a thread where we could suggest something special but simple that we can do in autumn (and I don't mean book a holiday or prepare for Christmas
) Maybe we'll get a good selection to look forward to by the time the weather does turn.
So I'll start with the obvious
A walk in the country/park/woodland to enjoy the changing trees.

I love this time of year. The autumn term at school always felt full of excitement after the long summer break and even now, I associate it with new beginnings more than January 1st.
that's a welcome change... Bring it on!!!
I loved it when the weather was sometimes nice into September, and I can carry on wearing my cropped jeans and tops. I hate the thought of jumpers, scarves and gloves

to me its just easing us into winter
