Ideas for a New Monstropolis Land in DHS

The other thing that is an issue is that disney parks are designed as "wheel" or "hub and spoke" or a combination of the two concepts so traffic can always flow in multiple directions from any point.

MGM is a basically 3 dead ends...and they aren't addressing this in this major retrofit...i think that's flawed thinking...trying to retain the backstage office space and parking was a big mistake...they should have expanded the footprint instead of worrying about the car entrance point.
All great points. Also the paths to that area (sans toy story) are so freakin narrow. Walking by commissary and sci fi after this opens is gonna be like something out of the walking dead

I think the problem is gonna be the initial crush won't die down as fast because of what Star Wars is.

After Disneyland opens...they may be crapping bricks in Orlando...due to lack of vision.

Hey...maybe that's why it seems disney is destined to kill the movie franchise? Reduce numbers on purpose?
And also the aforementioned lack of other things to do in the park. There won't be nearly enough to disperse the masses

The concourses currently on Hollywood boulevard and in Pixar place are less than half the width of the world showcase promenade in many spots...and people claim those are tight.

I'm afraid SWGE could be twice as big and 4 attractions, and they would need to stop letting guests in, at least at first.

It may be so...but building half that much isn't an effective method of crowd control either.

Personally, I'm a little sad at the idea of making DHS a collection of themed lands. I'm guessing they are probably moving that direction, but I really liked the "behind the scenes" stuff they used to have a when they first opened. If they continue with lands, my wish is that one would be dedicated to Making the Movies - put the old sound effects show with audience participation, a CGI studio, and yes, bring back some of the animation studios. Financially it probably doesn't make a ton of sense to split up the production to FL and CA (why they started taking out the production stuff to being with). Still between this, rumors of Zootopia moving to Rafiki's Planet Watch, and Epcot moving to all IP, it feels like Disney is taking any education aspect out of their parks. That used to be one of the unique features.
Yes Education in Disney is slowly fading out...
