Ideas for a 70th birthday celebration

My father turns 70 soon, and my mother, my brother and I are planning to surprise him with something "special". The problem is that by now we have done many of the classic Disney events, so I am on the hunt for something different. It would need to also cater to children (3,6, and 9). I posted this on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board yesterday, but only got one response so far (thanks spiceycat!) and wanted to cast my net wider... I also failed to mention that we are currently thinking about taking Grand One for a Wishes Cruise (after all, you are only 70 once ), but while he likes fireworks well enough and I am sure he would really enjoy the cruise, I can't help thinking that there might be something else he would find more memorable.

Well, lets see....Have you all ever done Cirque du Soleil? It is great for all ages! I highly recommend that, if you haven't done it already.

Also, what about the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review? Our experience has been that it is pretty funny for all ages.

I don't know how "spry" he is, but I really want to do the Segway Tour! But, that would leave out the little ones.

I also like your idea of a cruise!
