I'm kind of last minute on this, but I just can't think of any ideas.
When DS just had a birthday in May we had a Candy Buffet, which was great and the kids LOVED it... But I dont want to do the same thing again, But DH says she deserves something as equally great and I just cant think of what that could be...
Most of the guests will be in the age range of 3-6!
So can anyone think of any girly ideas for DD 2 nd bday party....
Theme is Disney princess if that makes a difference...
Also the party is at a party center with a bounce house and tubes and arcade all of that so it cant be too involved either... LOL
See why I'm having such a hard time!

Sorry so long
TIA

Your daughter is turning 2 - she won't know how great or not her party is. If your already going to a party center and already having it princess themed - isn't that enough for a 2 year old? Again, she's 2 - she won't know the difference only you will.

3-6 year olds just want to play - so let them play and keep it simple. Your party already sounds so nice and complete! Hope your daughter has a great second birthday whatever you decide to do!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I can't imagine my DH being concerned about how great my kids' parties are - I have to drag him to them!

How about having a princess or Prince Charming show up? PC came to my daughter's party and gave each girl a carnation but saved the rose for her. She was in awe and got some precious pictures. He was an acquaintance who dressed up in a suit with a crown on his head.

Thanks everyone!
I have to say that I think for a 2 year old it is a bit much, but I love to plan parties and I do it all on a budget so its not like I'm out spending $500 for this bday party or anything.
DH though is very much about equal everything between the two..... We went all out for DS when he was an only child because we were young and just wanted him to have the best time... So he doesnt think she should get cheated just because we have two!!! lol he means well!

I don't know about your 2 year old, but mine loves cookies and brownies. How about doing different kinds of cookies and brownies instead of a candy buffet? You can get them iced or sugared in any colors you want, or you can make them and cut them out in any shapes you so desire. I did cookies for a friend's little girl, and I made crowns, stars, slippers, diamonds, and hearts. The cookies were a hit, and they didn't cost an arm and a leg.

My son who will be three in December wants a cookie/candy buffet table at his party this year, and I think that will be fun.
