Ideas for 2 Boys

I posted this question on the Theme Park section yesterday and only got two replies, so that I might try over here. We are planning our next trip for December 8th -16th. I am going to buy the Richard Petty driving experience for my DH as a Christmas present. I am looking for something extra special to do with my two sons 12 and 8 while DH is "racing". From my planning so far, I think the boys and I will be at MK while DH does the RPE. Anyone have any ideas? It doesn't have to be at MK, just on Disney property! Thanks guys!

Two ideas ... DisneyQuest (if they're into video games) or surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon (if they're good swimmers).

Pirate adventure?

With all the cool princess stuff I feel like the boys are left out. On the other hand my kids love the parks just as they are... like I did when i was a girl. Without the need for tea or a make over
