I don't like it...

Pete's rants are fun and i love them!!!
But the whole show is from their hearts and not scripted.
When you want a rant as a segment then it must be scripted because Pete needs to be ranting on a cue and that's not what this show and Pete's rants are...

Ok so how about if a pc member throws out a random topic for the segment. Example:
Kevein would say something like, "your topic today is people swimming in the lakes, ready set rant!"

Then i still don't like it.

In a very tiny way this is what John does sometimes when he pickes out the news stories. He know about certain topics that there will follow a rant from Pete. BUT Pete doesn't know what the news stories are (again it's not scripted) and it isn't a mandetory rant....
I love the rants because it's spontaneously and random.

No, that's for sure not the case.
But my feeling would be that we would treat Pete like a puppet when this would happen..... (should have explained that more).

I thruly understand that people love the rants that he does, even i do.
And the more the better but not as a segment or mandetory thing during a show...

Oh oh oh - I love it. Pete as a puppet . . . or at least a flattie puppet. We could put dark red rouge on his cheeks; and to clarify, I mean his face.

I think your on to something lol I would call it... "Is it just me?" and have people call in or Facebook their subject... example, Is it just me or does it bother you too when you see a young person sitting on the monorail and they do not give their seat to an elderly person?

It could be themed in anyway too. Oh ya, lets get him ranting!!!
