Glad another NECKLACE crisis was averted (oh those boys!) You just know people all over the place..don't ya! It really is "Welcome Home", eh?

BLT pool looks nice, but yeah it even looks hot in the pics! A nice break in the day though and I'm looking forward to more MK hijinks!

When we got to BLT, my friend Phyllis couldn't believe we walked over because it was so hot....and really, it wasn't hot AT ALL- just at the BLT pool. It's like a micro-climate!

I go away for an afternoon of shopping and voila ......... missed another update!

I guess AP can be hit or miss. We usually go there for lunch and everything is freshly cooked. We love the Cheeseburger Flatbread, but last time it was a bit dry too and that was a VERY late lunch.

But ....... there's reason to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!

I've had the cheeseburger flatbread at lunch with Pods and liked it, too- I really think the key to that restaurant is the earlier, the better- especially for the flatbreads. And I LOVE your dancers!!! Thanks!!!

Oh, that's THIS month?????? Just pulled out the suitcase today!!!

3 DAYS!!!! I've been re-reading last year's TR to get psyched (like I need it). WOW!! We really know how to have a good time!

I'm so jealous, I would love to do a girl's trip someday!

better than the single digit dance is the less than one week....I finally joined the world of technology and got an Iphone. After hearing about yours taking that dive it made me feek better about it surviving me....LOL. Verizon does have good coverage...now on to download a good disney app.

Yay! Love the updates! I'm back and all caught up. Sorry for all the necklace drama. I'm glad no harm was done. I do like all the pics from SSR, even if it wasn't your favorite camera. I agree about the meals at AP. It seems like they are hit and miss - loved the cheeseburger flatbread, though! I'm looking forward to having another snack bar at the Paddocks when that area is done - should make the lines shorter. Looking at your pics makes me very "homesick." So far I have Jim talked in to upgrading our 3 day DL pass which still has 2 on it to an AP for DL and going next year - that's better than the "no vacay" status he had going for next year!

So excited for you DISmoms! You are getting so close - have a Rita for me!!!

Much, MUCH better than no vacay is an AP vacay!! It's practically FREE!!

I hope that you didn't have anymore issues with the lanyard! I'm actually the one that would lose things, so we don't do lanyard. I just scan my key and hand it to my husband. Yeah... I'm 30 and know I can't keep up with it! I have to keep up with a toddler though, so I think that counts for something!

Yes, that was the end of the necklace problem...til our next trip, I'm sure. I understand about you handing over your card- usually that's what we do, but I am the keeper of the keys.... I stink at setting any alarm clock, though- if that makes you feel better! DH has to wake me up every day. We all have SOMETHING!

I decided to go hard-core and start with the jalapeno. YUM! Then I had a mango blueberry at La Hacienda. also YUM!

It is funny how you miss your home resort- I'm kind of pining away for AKV because i haven't stayed there the last few trips, and I know it's not really in my plans until November 2012. Absence is good- it truly makes the heart grow fonder. Not to worry about the food- I have had delicious sammies & flatbreads there in the past, I think you just have to time it right- at the beginning of the service. It got us out and onto a bus fairly quickly, so that mattered more anyway.

I am SOOO excited for our trip!! It has been GRUELLING here since I got back from this trip- just alot of bad stuff to deal with- so I am looking forward to this vacation soooo much. I can't even TELL you how relieved I am to hear you finally made it to the Ditch...and how happy I am that you thought it really was ALL THAT. Tracy told me about some other really great cocktails you girls had on your trip- I plan to check them all out, if I can!! EVEN...the Grapefruit Rita in DTD- I LOOOOOOVE me some grapefruit!!

We ate soooooooo much and soooooooo many different places this trip that I can't even remember what we had for apps. I'm pretty sure Tracy ordered something that we shared. I know I had the shrimp tacos for my entree and they were yummy. I took pictures of nearly everything we ate, so that should help.

I also must insist that you try the mango blueberry rita - its was spectacular.

We had a great table with a great view of illuminations. It sort of distracted me from the food!

In just 24 hours I'll be landing in MCO, ready to begin the DISmoms trip- WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! So I thought I'd post an update before I go.....

We got off the SSR bus at MK and were greeted by....

Every time, never fails. Never saw it before 2 years ago- now, I see it every trip, whether I want to or not! The park entrance looks GREAT at night-

When we entered the park, the Electric Parade was going by- I was SOOO happy!!! So far I had missed this on every trip!

T&T were heading right for Space Mountain to use the FPs- but I really, REALLY wanted to see the new show on the Castle- the Magic. the Memories & You- so they went over to SM, and I found a spot in the Rose Garden (which I was AMAZED I could find, because the park was still PACKED, people were 5 deep (at least) on Main St! Anyway....here are some of my pics from the show...

WOW. Wow wow WOW!!!! Best. Show. EVER!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing!! So glad I skipped SM! I ran over to SM, and T&T texted and said they were just getting off the ride- PERFECT timing!! Wishes began, and Timmy said, "HEY! It doesn't hurt my ears anymore!" OMG, I do believe there will be fireworks in our future after all! We stood and watched for a minute, but the temptation of a 10 minute wait time at Buzz was to much to resist- so we hopped on the Stand-by line-

Tyler was VERY excited about his score, screaming, "Gimmee the camera!! Gimmee the camera!!"

Next they wanted to go on Splash...so back across the park we went. As we passed under Tink's wire, Timmy noticed it for the first time. My boys, who have either never or rarely seen Wishes due to their need for speed and Fireworks aversion, had no idea what it was for. Although they had PLENTY of crazy ideas about it.

Right when we got to the entrance to Liberty Square, the MMY show began again- and I told them we HAVE to stay and see this- you are NOT going to believe it!!

Even THEY were uber-impressed. It is THAT cool. And from where we were standing, Timmy could even figure out how it's done. Kind of. It is completely magical, after all.

Up next- Splish Splash, I don't wanna take a bath!!
