We are staying at BLT in September and we can't wait. That's funny about the necklaces. My DS loses things all the time, but then again so does my DH.

On the bus back to SSR, I had a nice conversation with another passenger- she was late to her DME because she had been stuck on CoP for over 1/2 an hour. I had been jonesin for a ride on it, it's been a loooong time.....but after hearing her story, the thought of being stuck on there with T&T for 1/2 an hour just did NOT hold any appeal, so my next ride on CoP will have to wait. Anyway....we decided to get off at the Grandstand and take a little walk (although we had to convince Tyler...)....

The kids said they were going off to shoot hoops again, and I said good riddance...umm, I mean, good-bye, sweet darling angels. I made a beeline for some MUCH deserved girltime.

Helllooooooo Rita-

After spending a little time chatting at the pool bar, and receiving an adequate amount of sympathy for my necklace story, I decided to enjoy the rest of Rita on my balcony-

I showered and then decided to wander aimlessly around lovely SSR-

Once the kids had showered, we decided to grab a quick dinner at AP, and then head back to MK. Up next!

Oh, those poor boys. Losing their necklaces all the time. They should be thankful to have such an observant mama. But then again, isn't that our job, to be observant of their entire world's, our DH's and then our own. I mean really. Us mom's just ROCK!

Of course they will have wedding cards. What else would they attach the ring to. What do you think that blue thing prince William was wearing. His mama told him always to wear his necklace.

Yes, but how many times do you think he lost HIS necklace that day????

And I thought I was bad with those "necklaces"! At least they remembered WHERE they had taken them off and you were not "late" for your dinner!

It was such a relief that RR was called off- it gave us the opportunity to laugh about the whole thing!

My DH is pretty good, he rarely misplaces things, thank goodness. The boys aren't quite following in his footsteps, unfortunately....

You will love BLT- it's very swank, GREAT location, great restaurants, the monorail access to all the other hotels ROCKS- I hope to stay there again one day.

We were grabbing a quick dinner at AP- this would be my 3rd or 4th visit, and i had liked it in the past, so figured why not? We placed our orders, and while we waited, I took some pics of the food that is offered there-

Once our meals were ready, we sat-

I do think the lighting here is so creative and cheerful-

Both boys were having nuggets for dinner-

They said they were just ok- I loved the chips, though- I was having a flatbread, the buffalo chicken one-

It looks pretty good, and I love the concept of it, but I did not enjoy this at all. I think the problem was that all of the elements were prepared soooo much earlier that day- it tasted like the carrots & celery had been shredded days ago, the chicken nuggets fried days ago and the whole wheat crust just wasn't that good (and I am a whole-grain eater, so it's not that the whole wheat turned me off- just THIS whole wheat did- KWIM?). Oh well-

We were finished quickly, and that mattered, too, so we left and it was 9pm.

As soon as we got to the Bus Stop, the MK bus pulled up and we boarded an empty bus- can't beat that for transport mojo!!

Up next- lots and lots of night time MK fun!!

Glad another NECKLACE crisis was averted (oh those boys!) You just know people all over the place..don't ya! It really is "Welcome Home", eh?

BLT pool looks nice, but yeah it even looks hot in the pics! A nice break in the day though and I'm looking forward to more MK hijinks!

I go away for an afternoon of shopping and voila ......... missed another update!

I guess AP can be hit or miss. We usually go there for lunch and everything is freshly cooked. We love the Cheeseburger Flatbread, but last time it was a bit dry too and that was a VERY late lunch.

But ....... there's reason to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!

better than the single digit dance is the less than one week....I finally joined the world of technology and got an Iphone. After hearing about yours taking that dive it made me feek better about it surviving me....LOL. Verizon does have good coverage...now on to download a good disney app.

You will LOVE it! Best phone I've ever had!!!! Mouse memos is my favorite app - it basically lets you log all your ADRs, confirmation#s, flight info, etc......

Seriously, I'm way overdue for a new one and now that Verizon has the iPhone, I keep threatening to join this century! Unfortunately, I'm afraid my nearly 16 DS will steal it as he keeps asking for the Droid (since he is the ONLY kid without a smart phone in the entire high school....).

So far the phone has been great. Im being put into isolation now though. I can't be hurt fir wdw. I am surviving the face thing and now I crushed my middle left finger cleaning that $&@"@)((357? Pond. Darn koi have a better house than I do. So no more work for me or I could be a real mess by the time we get there Friday.

Yay! Love the updates! I'm back and all caught up. Sorry for all the necklace drama. I'm glad no harm was done. I do like all the pics from SSR, even if it wasn't your favorite camera. I agree about the meals at AP. It seems like they are hit and miss - loved the cheeseburger flatbread, though! I'm looking forward to having another snack bar at the Paddocks when that area is done - should make the lines shorter. Looking at your pics makes me very "homesick." So far I have Jim talked in to upgrading our 3 day DL pass which still has 2 on it to an AP for DL and going next year - that's better than the "no vacay" status he had going for next year!

So excited for you DISmoms! You are getting so close - have a Rita for me!!!

YAY, I'm caught up! I've been a little busy, but I've caught up! Love all your pictures!

I hope that you didn't have anymore issues with the lanyard! I'm actually the one that would lose things, so we don't do lanyard. I just scan my key and hand it to my husband. Yeah... I'm 30 and know I can't keep up with it! I have to keep up with a toddler though, so I think that counts for something!
